BEST CAFE IN TOWN! Cheap prices for a HUGE MEAL! Went to lunch today, the samlon and the greek chicken and lamb tastes soooooooo good! The breakfast options are sooo good as well, the smashed avo is just soo good as well! Would recommend to everyone! Staff soo nice! After eating the food and leaving, saw the staff helping someone in need! So nice people!

Definitely a go-to cafe for for a cuppa and a quick bite.

In the past, there were too many people, but now there are very few. After the meal, I understand the reason. The menu has been changed, and many popular main dishes have been lost. Moreover, the fried food has a peculiar smell of oil, and decaf coffee has to be charged extra. Counting that a meal is not expensive at a nearby Cafe, people are reluctant to come.

A great spot for a coffee or a bite to eat, also doing take away and SKIP app friendly. Outdoor dining expanded ATM. Table service is friendly and with WiFi and a bathroom makes a good working space as well.

Great coffee and service, the only thing I could think of is their pastries are a bit pricier than those around, but apart from that decent coffee. I have been buying coffee everyday during this lockdown and never gone elsewhere

My brother was bragging about how good food in Tassie was. I sent him a photo of the food at Cafe Macchiato and said that "you don't need to go to Tassie for good food". I said that because Cafe Macchiato is really, really good and the staff are super friendly.

Ordered the Rosti and a weak flat white coffee.well the coffee was cold.the Rossi was burnt on both sides it was served with a egg on top so l also ordered a slice of toast, well to add insult to injure was told that was $2.00 extra which was ok, but as l tried to eat the Rosti couldn't due to it being burnt so bad. Couldn't recommend anything from them.

Caffe Macchiato has somehow escaped my notice despite driving past or shopping nearby for other items. I came here for lunch and found the service to be excellent. Parking is ample with multiple carparks close by and it is quite close to a number of shops so it can easily fit into your daily schedule. My coffee was good and the food great. I am really of two minds about the menu. The options were fairly plain nothing weird or unique on here. You could see this as either a positive or a negative. I will note that despite the offerings the food was tasty. My hamburger was great and passed the often failed test of being edible with my hands. Not too much sauce, oil or wet ingredients soaking that bun into oblivion. My partner said the same about her meal. Simple food cooked with a great deal of care and attention. If you are looking for something really interesting or exciting to eat you may find the menu a tad dull. Nonetheless absolutely worth a visit. Solid 4.5 Stars.

The best coffee anywhere in the area means I go out of my way every day to have at least one coffee fix from Macchiato. Great atmosphere, great food and super friendly staff who make the effort to know everyone's name, their coffee order etc. Highly recommended!

I was astounded when I saw the amount of gunk on their coffee machine wand. Caked on to the max. It looked about a months worth of warm fermented harbour for bacteria! Where’s the training? !? !
He even was swapping milk from warm to cold so he didn’t have to throw the milk out. That’s a big fine they are willing to risk. Appalling.

Charge more than as displayed even I had mentioned about the price 3 times. (Eventually, I showed him the price and got the money back). No apologies and extremely rude (the same person making the coffee).
Was watching how he makes coffee, milk was way too hot. Never seen a proper cafe makes it like that, worse than the one in servo.
