Cafe Omnia reviews
16 Aesthetic cafe with vibrant and delicious dishes and an outdoor playground for the kids!
We tried:
Nori Croquettes
Fried Ginger Calamari Omnia Bowl
Smoked Salmon Tartine
Mixed Berry Smoothie
Super Green Smoothie
This cafe had such a gorgeous interior and was a nice summery vibe! The nori croquettes had a crunchy breadcrumb outing and soft potato nori filling, served with slow cooked corned beef and the tempura kale was such a hit! The omnia bowl was vibrant and tasty, with tender fried calamari that had a delicious ginger seasoning. We were impressed with the fried poached egg in the smoked salmon tartine, how do you poach an egg then fry it, while maintaining a runny yolk? !? The smoothies were also super fresh and delicious!
All food, including coffee, comes out quickly. The staff is friendly (+pretty), there is a playground in the backyard, and there is a separate toilet seat and diaper changing area in the bathroom, making it kids friendly.
Great place to go for breakfast or a coffee
It is children friendly
Has 2 rooms out the back as well as an out dining area, also a children's slide
Food and coffee was great
I recommend Omnia
Great food coffee and good for kids too! Very spacious. Nice outdoor area
We had the mushroom waffle with falafel, and smoked salmon which was very solid. Highly recommended
I visited Cafe Omnia with my friends and we had a great time. The coffee was amazing, smooth and rich, and the food was delicious and Instagram-worthy. We ordered the smashed avocado, the eggs benedict, and the pancakes, and they were all fresh and tasty. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and relaxing. The best part was the outdoor kids play area, which had a cubby house and a slide. My kids loved it and had so much fun. Cafe Omnia is a perfect place for families and friends to enjoy a lovely brunch. I highly recommend it and will definitely come back again.
It's the best steak sandwich I have ever had
The beef was so fresh and soft, the sauce inside is just beautiful
Definitely be coming back
Took my mum to this lovely cafe today for Mother’s Day. Beautiful and clean environment. Staff are friendly and helpful. The chicken burger was delicious, as well as the fried chicken waffle. Will definitely visit again!
Good food with plenty of comfortable sitting outside or inside. Has two different outdoor areas for maximum comfort.
Lovely discovery, 2 courtyard areas, very dog friendly, tummy good, great service and a little kids cubby house out the back on artificial turf, great place. Highly recommend.
Having just moved to the area, we're trying out all the locals. Ombia didn't look like much from the front but walk down the hall and there's comfy couches and more tables than expected.
The staff were lovely and attentive.
We ordered the steak sandwich and smashed avo, with an iced mocha and chocolate milkshake.
The meals were huge (too big for me to finish), but I would have preferred a little less avo and an egg for each piece of bread (it came with one that was perfectly cooked). My fiance loved the steak sandwich.
With more menu options to try, we'd definitely go back as Omnia really impressed us.
It was very busy when we went, but the service was extremely friendly. Despite the rush, our food and drinks came out quickly and were delicious! The interior is also quite striking and interesting. They defs have the space to fit large groups, as long as it's not too busy (which might be a challenge!). Recommend!
Such a fun and friendly cafe, perfect for children as well as adults. Staff are wonderful and the coffe is excellent.
We had lunch here today and loved it. The staff are friendly and the food and coffee tasty. They’re dog friendly too with the staff bringing both treats and a bowl of water for our puppy. We’ll definitely be back.
I am a regular and love going there. This is the type of place that knows each of their customers by name and knows their coffee preferences.
They are big on coffee, regularly trying different beans type (#MelbourniansCoffeeLovers). The deliver coffee order very quickly, perfect if you're in a rush.
Indoor is beautifully designed, modern and well maintained. The surprisingly large indoor at the back can cater for larger groups. The outdoor backyard is extremely nice and has a playground for kids (Parents, no more swallowing your brunch in 5min, the kids will entertain themselves within eyesight!).
The menu offers a lot of choices, for all ages and tastes. The food never disappoints, always served quickly and with a smile from the lovely staff.
I strongly recommend you give it a try, it will soon be your new local.
My wife’s avocado was old and tasted funny which was disappointing.good for the kids though that’s why 3 stars, coffee was ok
Over all it's not bad, but I think they need to take a leaf out of the previous owner's 'nature boy cafe', and make it more lively and fun for the kids in the kids area. The only thing out there is a basically a very steep slippery dip which needs to be replaced asap as it's a lawsuit waiting to happen (it's too steep for toddlers and too far off the ground on exit - they go crashing!). When it was nature boy and more kids and price-friendly, it was packed out, not just on the weekends, but week days too, it was a true family magnet. I was sad to see them go. Stop trying to be posh, and focus on being kids friendly and business will boom. You have an outdoor space, make it appealing and fun for families. When I went there (roughly 2mths ago) the young staff members were friendly and helpful. But because my kids didn't like the stiff, unwelcoming outdoor space, I would be unlikely to go there again in a hurry.
