Cafe Ed

We popped in during our morning walk and were delighted: super friendly service, good brekky (egg omelette with spinach, ham and tomato on toast) and tasty coffee and chai. It was very peaceful and cozy inside and you can even read a book from their collection. And you cannot beat the price.

A well kept secret just off Power Avenue, Cafe Ed is perfect for a quiet place to meet or just chill. Sit indoors or out for friendly and efficient service. Best of all, it provides vocational training in hospitality for school students who aren't quite mainstream. (And psssst, don't tell everyone, but the excellent coffee is just $2.00!).
