Ordered Birryani with Roast chicken and Nasi Goren.
Rice in both dishes was raw could not swallow it, tasted like?
Roast Chicken that looked like tandoori
chicken tasted like boiled chicken was so dry I threw the meal out. What a waste of money. Won't be buying from here anymore.

Yummy yum YUM! We came here for heat and boy we got heat.food was spicy and flavourful.mango lassi was definitely made fresh and tasted amazing, super refreshing when eating a spicy meal.we tried the caramel pudding on the recommendation of another review.it was unique but also delicious.its more of like an egg pudding with a caramel sauce but is so moreish and gooooodd.would love to come back to try more!

Honest food produced and served by excellent people. We regularly have Lamprais from here on most weekends and the quality would surpass most offerings even from mother Lanka. Keep up the good work guys!

Cafe Auybowan is the best place if you wanna experience the authentic Sri Lankan Cuisine. Owners of this cafe is super friendly and very supportive. All the short eats and mains are divine. Recently they helped me out to arrange a quick dinner with a very short notice. I wish them all the very best for their future endeavours.

The food here is unrivalled. Prior to finding Cafe Ayubowan, we had tried so many other Sri Lankan restaurants but none of them can compare with this place. The food at Cafe Ayubowan is amazing. Honestly has to be the best tasting Sri Lankan food you can get outside of Sri Lanka. The taste was authentic and their top notch friendly service will definitely not disappoint you.

Dropped in to have lunch rather late, most of the food was over, they were so kind to quickly prepare some lunch for us. We absolutely enjoyed it, it was very tasty and full of flavour. The husband and wife duo are so friendly and have great customer care.

I’ve tried their foods couple of months ago and it was ok and average back then. But wanted to give it a go again and got some rice and curries few weeks back. It was perfect. Now I’m a regular ever since. May b they have changed their cook or a new menu. However every time I order food turnouts to be nice. Happy with the foods every time!

We stopped in this place when we are coming back from Phillip Island. Highly recommend place for Sri Lankan food. Very NEET and tidy and friendly place. We got a traditional Sri Lankan meal with wild boar and was very good.

I am not talking about the price as I think its worth it, good portion size, tastes good, clean and super friendly. We came out of state just for the SL FOOD for the second time and this is one of the places we missed last time. Guy with cap is easily distracted and need to be bit more sharp to be in a fast moving business such as this.

To answer your question, had to repeat my order 2 times even though I ordered over the phone. People who walked in for the same exact product without ordering over the phone actually got their food well before me. And he got confused with orders he received from others, for the 30min I waited.
