Cute little suburban Cafe, indoor and outdoor seating friendly staff fast service. Excellent coffee, tasty toast with butter and jam.

First time here and it was a lovely place for brekkie. I ordered their signature big breakfast, which had smashed avocado, baby spinach, mushrooms, fried eggs, some bacon, a hash brown, and once slice of toasted bread. Everything was perfect, especially the bread was crunchy and crispy. My partner tried their signature Benedict and the devil eggs were amazing. The special sauce on top of the dish was also delicious.
The only thing is that the matcha latte I had was not so good. They could have used a better matcha powder. Besides, their chai latte probably had too much spice, which was a bit overpowering.

Delicious food, served fast and hot. Amazing service. Incredibly thoughtful staff. Will be back again.

Came here on fathers day when it was very busy and the staff were so accommodating and sweet. Quality of food was top notch and fresh. Family friendly cafe with amazing customer service!

1809 is a humble, pet friendly cafe in Glen Waverley. Today we tried the:

SOFT SHELL CRAB BURGER ($21) with asian slaw, chipotle mayo, peanut butter dressing and fries
TACOS ($18) with pulled pork, pickled cabbage, crushed peanut, smashed avocato, sweet potato crisp and chipotle sauce

I order the soft shell crab burger almost every time I come here— the peanut butter dressing with the chipotle mayo is a surprisingly great flavour combination, complementing really well with the slaw and crab. The tacos weren’t too greasy and love the abundance of colourful textures and flavours to balance the pulled pork.

They’re usually really busy during peak hours which is no surprise given the food is great and the price is very reasonable. The service we had today was lovely, super friendly and attentive.

Nice little cafe with awesome food. Had eggs Benedict, French toast, cappuccino, and chai late. Service was great and food came fast. It's definitely worth a try for a good breakfast in the area.

Had brunch here which was great, just note that the lunch menu starts at 11am.
The chocolate milkshake was delicious and paired well with my breakfast.
Staff were friendly and accommodating with menu change requests and service was quick.
Recommend a stop if you're in the area.

Food is awesome but not the service. Gave me the feeling that I am in a Hong Kong tea restaurant where you need to eat & leave.

I can't speak much for the food (apart from the croissant which was nice) but the take away coffee is always spot on and a good price. The staff are friendly too. We always make it a stop in between jobs.

A hidden gem on a quiet suburban street. Our food was delicious and the service fast and friendly, and highly accomodating.

This little cafe has the best food and people there. Coffees are always amazing, great baristas know what are the best coffee. Kids are love their hotcakes and French toasts, which are the best!

Food was delicious and probably the best matcha latte I have had in a long time. Price is reasonable as well. Will definitely return.

Bad customer service the girl Elle that work their was very rude did not listen what I say and give me bad attitude felt very uncomfortable will never go back their again

Worst delivery ever. Just disgusting way of presentation.they kept fruits on ricotta and also cream on ricotta. Which made the ricotta watery it was like eating some pancake mic and cream mixed. I ate it with spoon instead of fork and knife. Just worst they dont care if you do uber. Worst ever cafe to order via uber.

My family and a friend enjoyed a wonderful lunch today. On the table there was a mushroom dish, a smashed avo and the spicy chicken burger, all extremely flavoursome and well presented. Very timely and polite service. Thanks again

Hi I want to get a coffee hade bad customer service she hade bad attitude towards her name was Elle she like she did not want to work their give me this attitude toward me will go to another cafee one that treat customer better
