Exceptional caring service from staff. Useful pharmacy and pleaseant cafe with garden, lunch only.
Lovely Maternity rooms, Regular ward rooms are looking tired but are refurbished.
The surgical theatres are in a brand new building. The childrens ward is right on trend looks like an amusement park from the outside.
Street parking is easy and always available close by or you can pay to park I have never had to,
ED moderate wait out of pocket cost $410 before 8pm and more after hours. This seems standard for private hospitals nowadays.

Ive been through several Public Hospital's Emergency Departments and this was my first experience at a private hospital. Upon admission I was advised I'd have to wait a few minutes as my cubicle was being cleaned. After over an hours wait in an otherwise empty waiting area, I was called. The nurse looking after me did not introduce herself, and after waiting another 15-20 minutes in my bed she walked past and "suddenly realised" that I existed. Even then she chose not to speak to me but aksed other staff if they knew anything about "bed 6". Finally I was seen to and given instructions. She made no effort to explain what she was doing when she was drawing blood or connecting the various machines and took me through a rather painful experience with no warning at all of what I might experience. At one stage I was asked to provide a urine sample and did so, only to be asked 30 minutes later again to produce another sample as apparently the first had been lost. The Doctor I had was the only redeeming benefit of my stay here. He was attentive, clear and took the time to explain to me exactly what was going on. I just called the accounts department to pay my bill and after providing my credit card details I was told I could not be given a reciept number or reference number as the actual payment would be taken by a separate banking team. Despite my Doctor being one of the best Ive ever had, I have NO faith in this Hospital whatsoever and would not recommend it to any of my family or friends. If in the same situation again, I will definitely choose Public over Private.
