Caa Waa Restaurant - New

We had take out noddles with roast duck, fried udon, caa waa seafood special all of em was really good! Big portion too!

I find the Caa Waa one of the most delicious Chinese food places around! Always friendly. Food hot and fresh!

Quick service and overall quality was reasonable. However chefs special “sweet vinegar garlic pork” was nothing like described as there was no sweet and sour sauce just a sweet mayonnaise sauce. Disappointed. Also, pad Thai was extremely dry. The new owners are obviously trying hard so hopefully it will improve

Found Caa Waa today and had absolutely delicious Satay Chicken and Singapore Noodles for lunch and with the plentiful serves, we will have it again tomorrow night for dinner (we are not big eaters)!
We will definitely go back.

Absolutely delicious meals and generous servings, partner said her Mongolian Beef was the best she's ever had! Very impressive Chinese takeaway and inexpensive too. Our new favourite Chinese takeaway shop!

Best Chinese takeout in Ballarat in my opinion. We regularly order from here every Wednesday and each time we try something new and the food NEVER disappoints. Highly recommended.

Had the best steamed dim sims from here and the soy sauce used is so nice. Will definitely be a regular customer love good homemade dim sims

This is the first time ordering from this place & can honestly say that my food was good, tasty and plenty of it. I'm pretty hard to please coming from Melb with such a great variety there to choose from. I've tried a few Asian restaurants in Ballarat & this is one of the better ones. I will order here again.

Amazing food after moving from Melbourne we have been trying to find the same quality as down there and this hit the spot would most definitely recommend giving this a try.

Delivery was here way under specified time which was a great start, then it just got better with the food especially the chicken pad thai it was absolutely spot on. Thanks.

First try with these new owners/operators. Very nice guys and the menu variety is great. Food tried was very good so will be back to try a few more menu items. Very friendly service, so hope they get ongoing support.

When these guys just took over few months ago couldn't fault them everything was A1 generous servings with good quality meats, veg the lot was fantastic when there was 2 young guys cooking both were very happy and excellent too deal with were very inviting, couldn't wait too return until lately, quality has gone down hill unfortunately, fried rice is so bad you could make better and cheaper at home, when u pay around $8 to 10 for rice that went in a wok tossed in 2 pieces of egg and 5 shredded carrots with some oil don't cut it sorry. Compared to the way its ment too be with bean shoots, sliced pork and egg and so on.we will try again soon if it hasn't improved it will be our last visit, as for the quality and quantity of the meat dishes has also reduced which is a pitty, specially when your paying around $15 for combo pac 3/4 of rice and lots of juice and hardly and meat big chunks of veg that take up lots of space.very disappointed, my friend also said the same as myself with the standards at this place.

Average food. Prawns were really tough and the flavours were pretty bland. Ordered through Uber Eats and got charged a service service fee on top of the delivery fee. Not necessarily the restaurant's fault but a bit of an insult when the food was nothing special.

It's decent food for a price on the cheaper side. Good value. The biggest letdown for me recently with the change of ownership is it's now harder to acquire vegetarian food.

It used to be a simple option when ordering from any app to just have tofu as the protein choice. But now all the apps ask me which meat I want, and "none" isn't an option. It used to be. I would loooove for this to be a simple option again to order vegetarian.

I paid $25 and got some under cooked and chewy pork. I threw up the food after trying to swallow your food

Wow! Thanks for the 3 pieces of chicken and undercooked rice. I gave it another chance and thought I don't want to cook tonight. Well thanks guys!

Avoid this restaurant

Really disappointed as we love the food here but our rice dishes were slimey and found uncooked pork in the fried rice dish. Not sure if just a bad day or new owners but such a shame.
