Byramine Homestead & Brewery reviews
26 The best scones around, in a beautiful setting. Plus they brew there own beers.
Whats not to like. Home made pies. Worth a stop, plenty of parking for caravans etc.
Beautiful spot for couples, friends, families or singles. Came for lunch as I was told the plowman's platter was well worth it and I wasn't disappointed.
Platter was huge and way to much for me (yay to a takeaway container) they were also able to easily cater for GF
Wine and cider options of you don't like beer too.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time here:)
The heavens shine here for a great old well kept colonial home. The best alcoholic liquids. Fresh produce at such fair prices
Lovely wander back through time learning the History of Elizabeth Hume and the first house built in the Yarrawonga region. Arrived and had Devonshire Tea in the cool garden. We then had a tour of the homestead. Homestead entry also entitles you to two free tastings of the homemade cider and beer.
We had a great time! Only downside was the hour wait for food. But we didn’t mind as we had some really nice beers in the shade with a breeze! Kids played games on the grass!
Great place
I would highly recommend Byramine as probably one of the most interesting homesteads I've ever visited. So architecturally unique with design features unusual in historical Australian homesteads. The information is well written and informative, as are the verbal recordings. The grounds are very pretty and relaxing and perfect for enjoying the variety of available craft beers, wines and food (also non alcoholic beverages). Everything at very reasonable prices. So glad we went)
Lovely grounds. Nothing overly worth seeing. Small homestead. Shame we memorialise the disposession of lands in this manner. Nothing to be proud of in this shameful exhibit of colonialism.
Incredibly pleasant and relaxing beer garden, enjoyed their tasting flight and lovely food. All very reasonably priced!
Delicious ploughman's platter. Great ciders and beers. Worth every penny. Have returned many times. Fascinating history.
Great food, great wine and beer and friendly service. Well worth the drive. We'll be back.
Recommend the Ginger beer and the Cobram Creme
Beautiful gardens, great food and selection of beers and ciders. Definitely well worth a visit.
Had a great lunch and beer/cider tasting sitting outside looking over the homestead.
Lunch was a lovely home made beef pie with fresh salad and chips typed with locally made dressing.
Very disappointed that it was closed today without a sign indicating closure and no update on the website
We enjoyed our tour, very informative place. We are privileged to see the preserved homestead over many years.
Food was great, we had dips and chicken with chips then ciders. Ill personally recommend lemon lime cider.
Very quite and relaxing place to hang out.
Lovely way to spend the afternoon. Delish lunch of vegie slice, partner had trio of pies. Did a tour of the beautiful homestead then had a couple of cider samples and finished off with a lovely Devonshire tea.
Lovely relaxed lunch small menu but all should find something food fresh and good. Range of beers cider and wines. Service good with pleasant staff
Beautiful old historic building with a shop. Generous food services however extremely limited kids options. Really not a great place for kids. There are a range of beers but not really a tasting option. Very pricey so be prepared to spend a lot.
Great service amongst beautiful shaded trees. Great share plates @ reasonable prices. Alcohol is nicely priced too.
Great friendly service by staff! Pear cider was really refreshing, buy a jar of their yummy chutney and have it with their pumpkin scone. Will be back next time I’m here
Lovely historic place with very nice food and some interesting homebrews! Great to wander around the homestead grounds without having to pay for the tour. Seeing 170 year old elm trees was pretty amazing also. Well worth the visit
