BWS QV

I guess it’s policy to show ID if you’re browsing. I’m not sure if it was how I was dressed or what, but I was asked if I needed help as I was browsing sparkling wine. I was asked to show ID, and when I told the worker I didn’t have my ID on me, she made a comment insinuating I looked guilty. It was offensive but I didn’t want to make a scene. I’m in my late 30’s and will never come back

I have been to various BWD stores three times already. I have been to all branches and the impressions are all good. I buy several kinds of fruits, salads, and breads. They also sell wine, so I have to look for BWS to sell them. Qv This store is relatively large and has a good selection of products. It's very convenient, has many choices, and the space is comfortable. If you see it, come in and take a look, remember.

The store advertised their opening hour at 1030am. Not even open at 11: 15am. Just trying to collect the alcohol I ordered online. Quite disappointed with this. Worst of all, i have to pay for parking too!

This store is okay, the selection of alcohol is adequate, although if you're looking for more unique spirits you won't be able to get them here. Normally it's not that busy so paying was quick and easy.

Store looks fantastic, everything is well presented and easy to find. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

Went yesterday (Friday evening) and the 2 male staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. For a second I was thinking "is this even possible? Am I in bws? "

This bottle shop had just what I was looking for at a good price and the guy that served was very friendly and helpful thank you

You guys really have a big attitude. No service at all. That guy did out even want to speak a word at all. Definitely racist and arrogant. Go back to school to learn how to respect people.

Staff told me that all wine is dry and if its really dry theyll put it on the label.
Staff would benefit from reading those help cards they leave out for customers

BAD SERVICE
I was treated unfairly by one of the staff and it was clearly racial discrimination. The staff was being rude and arrogant when I tried to ask about the buy1free1 offer and interrupted me midsentence while I was asking. The staff seemed annoyed at me (or at my question) for no particular reason.
After this incident, I won't step into this store again and would rather get my wine supply from Dan Murphy's.
Yes rude cashier, I'm talking about YOU.

Terrible service. The employees of this store have very serious racial discrimination. I hope that the manager can improve the personal quality of the staff. The manager assistant is also very impolite and does not show any attitude to solve problems.

Terrible service. The staff here acts like they’re guarding the fkn chamber of secrets! My dad goes in to get some beers and i decide to tag along with him. When he goes to the register to purchase his drinks they ask for my id as well. I tell them i dont drink due to medical reasons plus i dont have my wallet on me (and i wasnt even buying anything in the first place). They didnt let my dad buy his drinks and we later went to another bottle shop that didnt have annoying workers like this one. This has never happened to me before even in the most strictest states! Loosen up

? The staff was really rude. Made a lot of people wait for him. When he finally came, he looked like he is really in a hurry with no patience at all. I bought two bottle of wine, and tried to ask him if there was any green pattern gift bag for two bottles left with a bag for one bottle in my hand. He said IT DOES NOT FIT FOR TWO BOTTLE? Seriously?

Amazing service, awesome customer service and a great range of beverages. I can order online and have my items within a couple of hours; chilled and ready to consume! I wouldn't order from anyone else.

Usually have no trouble here but one bad experience is enough to make us stay away.
Was with 3 other friends (all legal with 'youthful looks' I guess) and the cashier was rude as hell.

1. He had to check all our IDs even though only one of us was buying a drink as a gift. Not what we usually experience but understandable, however -
2. He didn't accept my international ID (I usually get into bars with the same ID so I don't really see an issue)
3. Got chased out of the shop since I "wasn't allowed in" just so my friend could buy the drink, cool

But the WORST thing was that he was rude and spoke down to my legal friend even after he showed his Australian driver license, absolutely uncalled for mate.

Was denied alcohol because 'apparently' a foreign driving license can't be used as proof of age. Staff need proper training.

Horrific experience here. Three of us walked in, one of us was purchasing alcohol, another left to go to Woolworths and buy sprite. The young cashier refused to serve us until she came back. He was on a power trip. We are all of legal age. The purchaser provided id. How dare you make us wait for your pathetic power trip! I’ll never be back.
