BWS Blackburn Drive reviews
7We always get great service from Ben. He has such good product knowledge is very friendly and helpful. A+
Most of the staff are nice but the ones working there tonight definitely aren't. Didn't speak a word to me or make eye contact during the purchase, made one small noise after I paid. Last time I go there as I don't like disturbing people that clearly have something better to do.
Edited to update on my latest experience. One of the staff who had previously been rude was not wearing a face mask and standing very close to the other employee. This place is now a health risk.
Seems I’m not the only one being upset by rudeness from staff in the past few months here (see reviews). I expected to be served from my car as I was in the drive thru lane, but it seems people who expect this are shunned by staff, in the hope they will come to the counter for service. After becoming available, the attending male was clearly refusing to serve me (my car could not have been closer to him). Rather than approach me he got out his mobile phone and it didn’t take long to realise service was not forthcoming. I sat waiting while he amused himself on his phone. A female staff member eventually came through the back door, I seriously hoped she was the person allocated to serve the drive thrus, but it quickly became apparent she wasn’t going to serve me either. I eventually resorted to opening my window and asking in a loud voice if anyone was serving. (If I wanted to get out of the car I would have gone to the Kerrimuir shops, where beer is almost half the price).
FTR I had my 20yo foster son with me at BWS. He has severe non speaking autism and if I were to go to the counter there was a real risk he would exit the car and charge onto the main road. He ‘has’ done this before.
A second young guy who served me recently was also rude. No eye contact or communication whatsoever. Left me wondering if I’d done something to upset him.
You’ve lost my custom.
Arrived there tonight by 8: 50 the lil aussie boy in high vis wasn’t happy and sounds rush to me, and at the end when gave him cash, he said we don’t accept cash, but luckily ive got my bank card with me, haha sorry lil boy you are responsible to take customers exactly til closing hour not 10-15 before it.
Drive thru.well no. We pulled up at 9: 45pm (so not exactly peak) on a Friday and had to get out of the car to be somewhat noticed. The girl behind the counter was not wearing a name badge, talking to some man behind the counter who was wearing a high vis jumper and clearly not a BWS employee. More so a delivery man.behind the counter? Was not greeted. Continued to talk to this random man during the transaction. I work for Coles liquor. I know the standards and this was not it. Nice one BWS big ol nope from me.
Thank you Anna for being amazing. Seriously the best customer service I have seen in a long time.
Very good service and very convenient, only problem is it's a little on the small side so sometimes they might not have exactly what you want.
