Busy Bees at Sandringham

The staff and service is generally very good. They are caring attentive and the facilities are great.

But i have a major problem with one of their policies.

It’s a shame that busy bees continues its unfair and downright wrong policy of charging families full fees on public holidays when they do not provide a service. Whilst it’s allowable under consumer law, it’s a horrible reflection on how they view and treat their families and an indictment on their brand. “Yeah we don’t provide a service, but we’re still going to charge you”…. Leaving their staff to look embarrassed and dismayed as to why, when asked how they can justify this. It’s a clear money grab.

How is it fair that families who happen to need care on days that fall on a public holiday get penalised and those that aren’t booked in on those days don’t?

I know of many childcare centres in our area (bayside Melb) that do not charge for public holidays.

It baffles me why we would be penalised for this.

So pleased with the the high quality care and attention given to my 16 month old daughter since she started at Bliss Sandringham 5 months ago.

All the educators are so lovely, friendly and genuinely care about my precious girl. She is kept busy and thrives in the beautiful environment. She loves her days at childcare, has settled in so well and has a big smile as soon as we reach the car park. Forever thankful to all the staff who made our childcare transition as smooth as possible.

The current staff and teachers are awesome! Highly responsive and organised. Genuinely kind & caring people! Our 4yo absolutely loves her teacher & carer, she's enjoying the more structured format of her 'leaders' room and can never wait to go back!

We have been sending our girls to Bliss for nearly 6 months. The staff are always so welcoming and warm. This is the first time we have put our girls into a childcare facility and It’s really nice to hear the feedback that shows our girls are comfortable and being ‘themselves’, when in the care of other people. Our girls are in the 3 year old Kindy room (Junior Leaders) they love it! We chat about their busy day all the way home. Thanks to everyone at Bliss Sandringham taking such good care of our little ones!

Bliss early learning centre in Sandringham has become a little home away from home for our family. Choosing the right care centre was essential for us as we don’t have family here in Australia. Staff are focused on the children’s learning, but also help them to be the best little person they can be. Staff are also very friendly and happy to help with any advice through child’s development with parents. My daughter is currently in the junior discovers room. We enjoy receiving daily updates from the ap they use to upload pictures and a little story of the day. It’s so nice to see evidence of the learning that place and to receive some art pieces they create.

My son has been going to bliss since 4 months.when he started he couldn’t talk English thats why i was a bit nervous.but the educators are very very helpful in this period.he is doing great now.he loves all the activities&his teachers.also playing such a big yard is one of his favorites.thanks all the bliss sandringham team for nice&safe environment!

Best Childcare around!
Its so great knowing your leaving your child with such caring, loving, educational and friendly ladies! All the staff are amazing and care for the children like their own sending daily photos and stories of your childs day! The center is also amazing with its huge outdoor area and also indoor/outdoor covered area for the children to play, as well as being spotless and clean every single day! Could not recommend Bliss Sandringham more highly! Special mention to Cindy, Vanita, Catalina, Kate and Ursulza <3

With my son attending childcare 4 days a week, I needed a place I would feel comfortable and reassured he would be in a safe and happy environment. The educators at Bliss Sandringham are all very lovely and welcoming and my son has formed close attachments to certain educators making morning drop off transition very smooth and easy for myself and him. He loves coming to "nursery" and always tell me all the exciting things he did during his take when I pick him up.

My son absolutely loves his days at Little Learning School Sandringham. The play area is amazing and his days are full of activity! The staff are all so attentive, kind and caring for all the children.

As new parents we wanted a place that would be safe, educational, and close to home. We found what we were looking for and more with Little Learning School, Sandringham. Our 20 month old daughter is being cared for by people that truly care about her and want to see her succeed in life. We love to hear daily about the things that she is experiencing and learning. We appreciate that the teachers are actually teaching and not just "watching" her and we are comforted by the welcoming environment and warm staff. We appreciate the daily feedback we receive about our daughter's schedule. We especially enjoy that she is given a variety of developmentally appropriate indoor and outdoor activities including storytelling, singing, and multi-sensory fun and we LOVE that she has messy fun with paints, and other materials at Little Learning School, because then we don't have to clean it up) The teachers interact beautifully with the children ALL day. You'll find the energetic director Amy working in a classroom right alongside her teachers, not worried about getting her hands dirty. I could easily write much more about our positive experience at Little Learning School but in the end, all that matters is that our daughter loves coming here. What more could you want for your child.
