I run my own Café, Jackson Dodd’s in Preston, I love this industry and looking after my customers, one of the great things about running a café is the people you get to meet, one of my regular customers is Miles Primrose, I have learnt a stack of business tips since Miles has been coming here

After seeing so many of his clients being so inspired and happy, I invested in a couple of one on one sessions with Miles to work on my business.

Miles has helped to no end with working out what I should and shouldn’t do and he’s connected me some of his team to work on the digital side, so I can focus on running a great café.

I was looking for a builders business coach in Melbourne, I found out about BusinessSight in September 2008 from a radio ad on 1116 SEN AM.
I remember meeting with Miles and he came across a bit blunt when myself and business partner first met with him.
This bluntness also continued when we were doing the BusinessSight Mentor Workshop, it was like someone had wacked you over the head with a 4 by 2, in a good way.
Sometimes you need to hear or learn the business lesson from someone like Miles.
I've looked back at this time over years and I now hear so many coaches trying to be your friend, Miles always said, I’m not here to be your friend and I don’t care if you don’t like me, I’m here for you to get the results you deserve. I now have my own construction & project management business and his workshop provided me with a great base to build from which I now still draw from.
If you are looking at getting a builder’s business coach, or trades business mentor, call BusinessSight

This is my 2nd year working with Miles Primrose at BusinessSight, I didn’t even know the term Trades Business Coach existed until I met Miles.

My role is Workshop Development, every week I’m improving the process of the workshop. Some weeks I come in and Miles has completely pulled it apart and we work on rebuilding the workshop days so that they’re more in depth and completely up to date!

I never actually thought of diving into a role like this, a friend of mine worked for Miles and connected us. I have learnt so much from working at BusinessSight and am so much more confident!

I worked with Miles as the BDM for businesssight

Miles has a massive vision for his business

He looks after his clients and goes the extra mile for everyone involved

It's great to work with someone so passionate about the building industry as I am and someone with nearly two decades of experience in working with trades and Buillders

I have been working with Miles Primrose from BusinessSight, providing him with videos and photography work for his Trades Coaching Business since 2016.

It makes my job so much easier when the client has a great niche such as business coaching for trades and builders, as I know in my mind how I’m going to make this work on film.

Miles is always clear, organised and ready to go when I turn up.

I found about BusinessSight through an ad on the Radio in 2007, at the time I needed a plan for my Building Business, I was still on the tools back in 2007.
I really didn’t event know that a Builders Business Coach was a thing at the time.
Since the workshop Miles and I talk every few years, I’m off the tools now.
I know that I need to keep working on my business, doing the BusinessSight Workshop was a great way to set my business up.

I meet Miles Primrose at my BNI in South Melbourne in February this year; you just know when you meet someone that the connection is for a reason, you can see that you have similar values and standards

When Miles explained to me that he is a Trades & Builders Business Coach and that he has been running workshops for them for almost twenty years, we could see a parallel, since then I’ve had the pleasure of facilitating to a room full of his clients at the BusinessSight Mentor Workshop, that Miles and his team runs

I’ve found Miles to be direct, honest, very driven, and focused on the very best for his clients, which I could see in their faces & by the energy & openness in the Room

I came across Miles Primrose from BusinessSight from a client we shared in common in February 2009, moving on a few years I never thought about using a builder’s business coach for myself, or even attending a business workshop, well I attended the BusinessSight Mentor Workshop and it was a real eye opener, other than the workshop being so extensive, I met a heap of great business owners and it gave me direction on the steps I needed to take, it was well worth the time and the investment, the way the climate is these day you need a trades business coach

A business friend introduced me to Miles Primrose from BusinessSight; I didn’t even know that “Trades Business Coach” was a thing until I met Miles

My goal like a lot of business owners is to build a profitable business that over time is less reliant on me, that’s why I knew this workshop was what I needed

The workshop has been pretty intense, there is so much to do, the presenters are really good, the support is great, I can email and he normally gets back to me within hours

This workshop is helping me set things up properly now so I will have a great business for the long term

I have been working with BusinessSight as a workshop presenter for a couple of years now.

I have seen first hand how working with a trades business coach like Miles is so essential to drive growth while staying sane.

It has been great to see how trades and building businesses of all sizes that put in the effort at the workshops, get a lot in return.

Miles from BusinesSight is great, he still helps me to date with various things.

His knowledge and patience are key strengths.

He gave myself and my team clarity and direction.

Plus all the presenters he has are a big bonus as they help extend and fill any missing parts you don't have within your business.

I would give 6 stars if that was possible

Love from Team SL! #hectic

I met Miles Primrose at my BNI in Williamstown. I had a good laugh when I met him as he surprised me. He knew I was wearing essential oils. My gut instincts told me at this point we both valued healthy living. As I got to know Miles, he explained to me that he is a Trades Business Coach and he could see a fit for what I do with showing people about healthy cooking.

This month I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to speak about eating real food to a room full of his clients. Again, I was surprised to see that all were very open to my presentation. In fact, we a had a great discussion where all participates were asking questions, sharing how they had either started on a path to eating real food, or were at the stage of realising they needed to and were trying to work out how to start. Sharing my passion with such an engaged group was so much fun. Thanks for the opportunity Miles.

As an arborist, the thing I did not want was a normal business coach but I knew I needed help. I was lucky that a friend of mine was able to connect me with Miles Primrose from BusinessSight, who I found out was the first Trades Business Coach in Australia.

The guy runs his business workshops for trades and builders in Melbourne, I’m in Sydney, after having a couple of calls with him I knew It was going to be well worth the flights and travel time to Melbourne
Miles has helped me with a heap of things, including How I NEED to see things financially, what I need to create to make the business less reliant on me and Most of all that I need to structure my week a certain way.

He opened up my eyes to the difference between being busy and being productive.

Miles is a great guy who's devoted to his clients success. I feel so much clearer on my direction and the steps I need to take to grow my business.

If you're a trade business owner looking for some help, I highly recommend him and his team.

As a young builder at the time i was looking for a Builders Business Coach and i connected with Miles Primrose at a Timber Event of all places, I signed up for the Trades and Builders Business Workshop and i would say the main things I got from it was gaining an understanding of all the different business aspects, and what to look for when I hire or get a business service. I took home a solid library of business tools to refer back. I had brief knowledge before doing the workshop on what to expect as a minimum standard when i get business services, and this was a massive help. Of course there was all the modules along the way, Business is good and things are going from strength the strength now

You get to a stage where you know you need to do something/work on yourself and your business, build your knowledge base. I came across the guys at BusinessSight in 2010, i signed up to the workshop they run, geez did this open up my mind, there was a lot i knew and there was a lot that you don't know that you don't know, the presenters were amazing and it was great being in the room with other business owners from the building industry, what else did i get out of the workshop, I gave myself a kick up the bum, and i started to look after myself more and better, improved my commercial skills and attitude, and the thing is, it's been nearly ten years since i've done the workshop and Miles and i still keep in contact now and then.

I completed the BusinessSight Mentor Workshop in 2016, The way Miles dealt with me was what i needed, someone to tell me the truth about what needed to change, it was great being in the room with other Trades and Builders. For me it was about taking the first step, from doing subie work for others to doing my own thing, it took me awhile however i have made some massive improvements, my goals are not massive, however the main thing i got out of this whole process other than the workshop itself was reality check that i needed to step up and set up a decent business and implement discipline in my life and sometimes you need someone externally to do that with

As a small business owner you sometimes need the perspective of an outside party. In 2011 I completed a short workshop with BusinessSight which helped me regain clarity around the direction of my business. The knowledge I gained has helped me better structure my work week and created new networks and connections

I signed up for the BusinessSight Mentor Workshop in June 2017 because I needed direction and support in running my business, The level of ongoing support and the depth of the business team has been outstanding, since doing the workshop I have been on two holidays and I’m getting my life back, there’s a stack more for me to do however I have the support and that’s what I’m after
