Burwood East Primary School reviews
10If I can give 0 star, I will do. Teacher seems very busy, and show no responsibility to provide quality education. Students theft money and stuff, even in the bag. Get bully by others, teacher reponsed as "you should tell your parents, i can't do anything'. I cannot believe this school called 'top primary school' in Melbourne. Hopeless.
Amazing school, great teacher.
Highly recommend this school.
Kind and respectful school.
They have a fantastic curriculum for foundation all the way to year 6.
Am now in year 6 at Burwood East primary school and its pretty great to be a student at this school, i learnt alot of staff here
Lovely school. So much fun stuff there! BEPS is a wonderful school, it's been here since 1861! Students learn a lot in this school, and yard duty is cool. I love BEPS because we are the kids of BEPS, making BEPS a better place.
Hi I m a student at this school if you want to join happy to join this school the best over Burwood Melbourne
BEST SCHOOL EVER it is so fun at BEPS and my favorite teacher there was Angela and especially Catlin and don’t listen to the people that said BEPS was unsafe and that many people were bullied in the school for I am a student in there and I never saw any bullying so I highly recommend this school for your child, Thank you and please leave a like
Lovely school. So much fun stuff there! BEPS is a wonderful school, it's been here since 1851! Students learn a lot in this school, and yard duty is cool. I love BEPS because we are the kids of BEPS, making BEPS a better place.
This was the best school ever, I graduated last year and I have no complaints. The teachers were so nice and you could tell they cared about your learning, especially Mr D and Ms Balis. The school felt like a second home to me and I learned sooo much. I wish I could go back and I honestly loved my time there. There is a real sense of community and I would recommend this school to everyone! There are some reviews that say they got bullied but there was no bullying in the time I was there and the teachers where very supportive when it comes to students being sad. I love this school and I can't believe how fast time flies.
My daughter enrolled into this incredibly school towards the end of grade 2. The moment we walked into Burwood east primary school we were greeted with a warm and welcoming attitude. The school has an amazing sense of community often holding various social nights. The education my daughter has received has been exceptional and clearly shown on naplan results. I would not hesitate in recommending this amazing school. Thank you to all the staff at Burwood east primary school for all the care and support you have shown my daughter over the past 4years.
From previous reviews it is clear that the school is among the top of the "Best School" list. I am not a parent but have witnessed two events from children of friends who attend this school:
1. Bullying - It is prevalent and the school remains oblivious to it as it is working towards holding on to the "Best School" tag. It is paramount that the teaching staff are well trained and involved to notice bullying incidents and proactively take actions. It crushes the self confidence of a child when they are bullied for reasons from skin colour to being a slow learner.
2. Communication of the teaching staff - Some of the staff are clearly not trained in communicating effectively parents when issues come up. Putting down a child in front of a parent is very demoralising for the child and the parent. Individual attention cannot be provided for all children, however teaching staff must be equipped to identify situations when a child is under performing and provide support. In a class of 30, if 28 are performing well and 2 are having some difficulties to keep, the staff should raise the red flag and support rather than assuming that the 28 well performing students would contribute to keeping the school's academic achievement safe.
