Burnley Brewing reviews
57 Yes great atmosphere, Yes great staff, however very poor quality food e.g. Soggy chips, worst ever pumpkin curry, stodgy gnocchi, and the rice with the curry the poorest quality one can buy: - (
I was seriously disappointed with the food and so were my guests. I think this place is good only for folks who want quantity over quality. I think the kitchen needs a good overhaul and perhaps good guidance under a qualified head chef.
Pizza used to be on the money. Now it's more expensive and the Ingredients are cheaper. Real shame as I used to come here instead of mountain goat
Had lunch date here with my mum and tried the seafood pizza with Blanc sauce, buffalo chicken wings and two types of beer (pineapple mango larger and black coffee one)
All super tasty, food took a bit long to arrive! The staff were all friendly and attentive!
Great pub! They have very good beer - farmhouse ale is highly recommended.
The parma and pizza are also great.
Great place for an afternoon beer. Fantastic selection, friendly staff and awesome pizzas.
Great local. The beer is really good, something for everyone. Used the back room for a table of 15. We really enjoyed the space. Food is honest and love the screens to check on sports - yes Melbournians love their sport
Great brewery in a busy and bustling part of Richmond. Easy to get to by tram. A large selection of beer including guest beers. Large, modern venue with indoor and outdoor seating. Service was quick and efficient. Extensive food selection, we had pizzas which were very good.
Showed up on a busy Saturday night without a booking but the staff were all too happy to squeeze us in. Entrees and mains (Calamari and Chorizo Pizza) were delicious, as were the tap beers. Highly recommend the Weizen beer. Great atmosphere and not overpoweringly loud and echoey. Can still have a normal conversation inside which is a bonus.
Sneering and patronizing staff made this a most unpleasant experience. 20 hours of poking hot sticks into my eyes would be preferable to 20 seconds of interaction with your wait staff. Won't be back.
This place is really great. Good atmosphere friendly staff. Looking for a great place to eat. Craft beer on tap. Really great food.
Weizenbier was great, had a great night catching up with friends, I had bratwursts with smashed potatoes, yum. Would totally come again, great range of tap beer available too
A great local brewery to visit and giving the rest of them great completion as well as very unique in their own sense with head brewer Michael experimenting more ways than one could think of - so many flavours and ofcourse not everything is for everyone but there are plenty on tap to have a jolly good time! Great to see them extend to next door and doing well:)
Great little brewpub. All the beers were excellent as well as the food. A differing range of beers from a German trained brewmaster. A 100% recommendation.
Used to love this place, not anymore. Havent seen owners in the pub for ages and that was when it was at peak. Customer service just isnt what it used to be, will give it a 1 now.
Great place, I turned up on a Saturday night without a booking and the staff went above and beyond to find me a spot. The atmosphere was great, nice vibe but they have managed the noise so it’s not deafening. The beer range is superb, absolutely recommend coming down and paying this place a visit.
This is a great brewery to visit, especially if you are with friends who have a variety if beer tastes. I like the German style dark larger Dunkles, plus the Dry Hopped Wit Beer (Belgian style). There are other largers and ales, plus IPA's for those who like the style. A must visit Richmond brewery
Always an amazing time here. No matter what time and day or event. Precovid I was here like 3x a week as my office wasn’t terribly far. Sadly it’s my first time this year even though I just live in the CBD. Beers, food, and beer are always spot on.
Wonderful beers, the best I ever had. I loved the hazy mango pale ale. Definitely a regular place to go with mates.
Thank you Burnley Brewing
I wish I could give this place 6/5. The beers are sensational, always innovating with the new flavours coming out! Food is delectable. From living in Richmond years ago, it's still a favourite destination to come back to. Super friendly staff and always happy to talk about your childhood:)
Trivia was great, challenging stuff so made our team look trashy, but that's our fault. Will return.
