Burndap Park reviews
17 There are many birds, ducks, swans, geese, seagulls in the river and around the water areas. Their sounds are interesting. Three of them laugh like humans! They dive, swim and stand on the rocks. Fish live deeply. Lizards hide in the rocks and grass. The bees and butterflies are flying, too, in and out of the flowers but the flies are annoying. So, apply insect repellent on your skin and clothes, especially when you go picnicking, eat and drink there.
Enjoy watching the wildlife. Burndap Park is a valuable asset to Australia, a dry island.
The Maribyrnong River is near, so there are many beautiful views of nature. The sunset shines on the water surface. You will get sun tanned.
Jog, cycle, or walk the dogs in the walking trails. Beware of the bikes.
Suitable for kids and families.
It's a really good park for a walk or run. Some areas have well maintained flowers and plants.
The sunset view and atmosphere are fantastic, I went out for a walk almost everyday.
Hopefully some street lights will be installed as it is quite dark during the night in some areas and a bit scary to walk.
Big park for big kids! Even adults who wanna be kids again to release adrenaline in a healthy way!
My favorite spot for jogging, especially over the weekend. Walking along the river bank is peaceful and relaxing. There are also coffee shops and bbq stoves for people to take a rest.
The walking trails on both sides of the Maribyrnong River and Burndap park in general are just lovely. There is a playground at one end and others in adjacent parks, various facilities to bbq or picnic (best spot if you need public toilets is Pipemaker's Park) and there are a few convenient spots to park too. Thoroughly enjoyed clocking up several kms around here.
Great playground. Beautiful surrounds with toilet and lots to learn, pioemakers and flower garden.
All kids love play grounds and some are more user friendly than others.
This play ground is relatively user friendly for young children and my sons had lots of fun
Nice lake view. Beautiful park for your children next to it. Long tracks for cycling and running. It's really big so you can always find some privacy
Beautiful to walk along the river. Dog friendly walk. Water fountains. Doggy p.up poop bags provided. Peacefull. Beautiful and plentiful bird life.
Plenty of space well keep grounds, great ponds with ducks, and lovely play area just first rate place to relax.
This place looks like a holiday in another country. Really nice views and walkways. Oversized seats that you can lie down on. Wide open spaces and the river is a gorgeous colour this time of year
Lovely place for a stroll and some bird watching. Unfortunately a lot of littering going on right now by Covid bubble groups. Please pick up after yourselves folks, nobody wants to live in a dump!
A great balance between modern housing and the local environment. Water birds are common and curious about humans!
Visited again today. Now has BBQ and picnic tables. Lots of waterbirds around the wetland and plenty of walking tracks.
A very quiet place to chill out or take a walk, bike ride or so on. We came here for a nice relax and it was perfect.
