10 Amazing place full of charm and history.
Magnificent gardens to wander around and very welcoming hosts.
A great place, feels like time travelling to Britain in the 19th century:) comfy beds with bed warmer, big library/salon and pool. Breakfast had lots of choices.
Lovely, dog-friendly, quaint, character-filled historical home with very comfortable rooms complete with amenities such as a coffee pod machine, kettle, toaster etc. Did I mention dog friendly? We needed a place to stay overnight that would welcome our doggo and were not disappointed. Hosts were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Room rate reasonable, with included continental breakfast. I wish we'd had more time to get to explore the gardens and use the inviting-looking pool. Will definitely be back:)
Lovely house set in beautiful gardens. I only had a very short stay but would love to come back and spend more time. The hosts were lovely and the room was very comfortable with everything I needed. A variety of breakfast foods available. Definately a hidden gem!
Great value for the room and pet friendly too!
What a wonderful hidden gem.
Loved the history of this place.
Great gardens, comfortable bed.
Very quiet.
Barb was very friendly.
The house was lovely! The grounds were beautiful. My husband had been in Casey Hospital and it was lovely to go to this gorgeous house for the night, after he was discharged. We had our dog with us and she was very happy. We loved the bed in our room and the bath was amazing! I only briefly met the owner, Damien, but his granddaughter, Gemma was helpful and friendly. We will be back at the hospital in about 4-6 wks, and we will definitely stay here again!
Brilliant old style home. Cosy antique bed with a sneaky hidden door to the porch. I stopped because I needed to stop but was brilliantly surprised at the delightful welcoming and beautiful heritage home. The owner could not be more warm and inviting. Highly recommended.
A Charming place.
I was in Melbourne for 10 days for work purposes. Although I was there mainly for work my accommodation made all the difference. It felt like I was home! My accommodation was booked at this lovely place called Burnbank Estate. Burnbank Estate is full of character, charm and presented its own unique history. The ground is full of greenery that everyday after work, as i drive thru the hedge covered entrance and along the driveway with trees and shrubs on either side, it was as if I was driving towards a secret garden. The house itself is so beautiful with all the amenities and modern conveniences. The bedroom and bathroom are cleaned everyday. The owners, the lovely Barbara & Damien, does a great job in running the place - keeping the place clean, cosy and so inviting. They are both so accommodating and make you feel so welcome in their own home, that you feel like you are part of their family. I hope to visit this Charming place again. Thank you very much Barbara & Damien! - aileen
A peaceful getaway just to be able to relax and enjoy the views and gardens all around it was beautiful inside and out.
