Burgled Burgers reviews
40Very different to how I remembered. Ok but nothing special like it used to be. Different buns, different service.
Previously loved the burgers. Let down today however. No love putting the burgers together, chips dark brown being a sign of overcooking or dirty oil.
Went at 6PM on a Thursday, no one else in the store. Excellent service and food arrived very quickly. Got The Gettysburger, great fillings & beef. Solid burgers, if a couple of dollars overpriced.
Been here plenty of times, burgers are awesome!
Ordered the onion rings to share between three, portion was great but the the rings were very oily unfortunately and the first time to have ordered them from here not sure if this was normal, will try them again before writing them off.
Keep up the great work on the Burgers
The past few time coming here the food has been decent though, last night I ordered a burger didn’t taste right, onion rings which were cold and very oily and a milkshake. Unfortunately early this morning I woke up with food poisoning. Please ensure this does not reoccur for other customers.
I remember the burger buns being a lot nicer, almost melting in your mouth. But they taste like cheap supermarket rolls, and really ruins the taste of the burger! I tried ordering a few times, but it's been a let down now. I'm happy to pay more to just get that amazing bun taste back!
Yesterday afternoon, August 3rd my husband and I went to get an ice cream each. We were both extremely disappointed by the scoop sizes. For $4 per scoop we were expecting a full scoop but we only got half a scoop and it didn’t fill any part of the cone. We are locals and would have enjoyed a place to walk to to get ice cream but this was such a disappointment. Today we went to Seaford and loved their ice cream there.
They used to be good but the last 3 times i got food from here the chips and burgers a under cooked and cold.
Will probably never go back again now as it's just a waste of money now.
The chicken joe burger i had was awful, had nothing on the old southern fried burger i remember you guys doing. Dissapointed.
Tasty Food. The reception girl was very kind and generous; she gave us almost the double the quantity of milk shake for the price of one. The burger is full of taste but can be a little more ingredients than just the patty and sauce. #SUPPORTLOCAL
We got two burgers, a plain jane and a bogan burger and chips. We were told they would be ready in 20 mins, I got there on time. The burgers were tasty but only just warm and the chips were soft and barely warm. Return visit, no thanks.
Had the samurai today. My wife had the cheeseburger. Hers couldn’t be faulted. The katsu chicken in mine tasted pretty dry.
Service was friendly and efficient.
Was welcomed very nicely And food was lovely BUT! The service after that was appalling! I’m not one to leave a review but for my first experience here safe to say, I won’t be back.
1st issue - one of the girls was chewing her chewing gum whilst talking to us! There’s a time and place for gum and whilst serving is not the time!
2 - when they brought over the wrong coffee and we politely asked if it was a mug she rolled her eyes huffed and said I’ll take it back! Also not acceptable!
3- she dumped the tray on the table and left in a rude Manor!
Lastly! One of the girls with long hair had her out and was constantly playing with it. It is a rule in food to have your hair up if longer then shoulders!
I was excited to come and try the Indian chicken burger.
Fairly busy at 130pm on Saturday arvo, no seating.
Friendly enough service. Only two people, server and cook, pumping out the orders.
I was disappointed with the burger:
- bum soft and soggy, by giving it a quick grill, could have fixed that;
- white cream sauce well and truly superseded the tandoori sauce detracting from its tandoori taste.
- I asked for no onions and got onions.
The medium size chips were big enough and great quality. I didn't want tomato sauce and got two Aioli which was good customer service.
I would give it another crack.
Awesome yummy and decent size burgers. Very friendly staff. If I visit the area again I'll certainly dine in.
My daughter took me here for my birthday lunch. It was very nice place we ate out the back yard as it wasn't too cool a day. The lady on the counter was so nice the service was so quick, they have different burger's from different countries which is a nice change. We went for the slow cooked lamb burger. The buns are so soft an bright yellow, the amount of meat an toppings was absolutely worth the price.an they even gave you side dips for the fries which are a triangle long shape, an even gave you extra with out charge. I will go there again. There is parking across the street under the rail line so even better
Had the lamb burger - really salty - tasted like old canned tuna - bun was stale - service was poor and place was dirty - won’t be back!
Awesome chips, and great burgers, and perfect service from the lady on the till. Highly recommended for eat in or takeaway - I'll be back.
Just had takeaway. Was ready in 15 minutes from ordering. The roll was stale, the hamburger patty was not freshly cooked and it was drowning in sauce, I mean literally drowning. The chips were nice. Won’t be back. Premium prices and ordinary food.
Service extremely poor, no eye contact, no smile and grunts/grumbles were a part of their communication. Hospitality/customer service training of staff could significantly improve the customer experience and attract more business.
