20Unprofessional service, impolite customer service. Even put up the wrong profile, please do some training
Yesterday morning I went to the store with my mum and requested to cancel her insurance within the 30 days cooling period because she changed her travel plan. Mum needs to move overseas 5 months later. As Bupa only offers suspension for domestic insurance after 12 months of membership. We have to cancel it.
The staff served us was a middle-aged Asian lady with short hair and wearing glasses. She was super aggressive. She treated us very rude when she heard we wanted to cancel the membership. I can understand that you have the sales target in the retail, especially at the end of the year. However, we submitted the cancellation within the cooling period. Also my mum hasn't used any of your insurance service, and she hasn't lodged any claim yet since she joined in Bupa. She didn't even take the membership card off the letter. We cannot accept being offended by a reasonable request.
My mum chose Bupa because I am a Bupa member. I visited the store a few times, some other staff are patient and helpful to be honest. But yesterday I felt really uncomfortable with the customer service. After we've been treated like this, I am thinking of cancelling my membership now.
If you want to retain your customer, please provide proper customer service first.
Really bad customer service. The lady promised me that I'm the next in the queue and I waited a long time, then she called for someone else.

Extremely poor customer service from Tracy Liu on Monday. She didn’t want to help to written a email to relatives department, even ring the phone to relatives department, she didn’t has patient to wait on the phone, all the issues just put it back on me and requested me to contact with, I’m actually so disappointed, and she even doesn’t want to give her name card as she knew at the time she didn’t help to solve my issues and just wants to go home.
Great practice, great staff and great equipment. A particular shout out to Dr Cham Karunarathne.she's brilliant.
Bupa office smelt unpleasant. Bupa where they constantly shrink you benefits while constantly increasing you premium. Then when you go into a branch you are not given any friendly service. This branch obviously caters to a certain demographic that I do not fit into

I walked in for a general inquiry this afternoon. One of the staff, a gentleman, greeted me with a smile and patiently answered my questions. This 5-star review is for the delightful service he provided even though I did not purchase any product from him today.

Place was very helpful. Came to drop off a form and the person at the front of the shop took it without me needing to go in. Very quick and they were following covid restrictions. I normally dread going to health care places because they are very long and tedious but not here. Easy and quick and worth the drive from Dandenong

I went to ask about if some of my fees are covered. When I asked a further question in Mandarin, the lady who served me today started to sound impatient, which made me very uncomfortable. I went to ask questions because I was not sure about some of the insurance coverage.
What kind of customer service from Bupa even in front of a trainee who might have just got enrolled today?
For those who wanna go with Bupa, think twice before you jump in. Medibank provides better service when I was insured with them. Definitely consider switching back to Medibank when I renew the insurance this year.

No wonder why they have 2 stars so far. Very poor customer service and very good at giving excuses for neglecting to upload documents to the system. Don't waste your time in this place: (
I went to ask how much I'd be out of pocket for surgery for my son. After initially telling me I wouldn't be out of pocket, I was told I would only be covered up to Medicare rebate. English was her second language and she couldn't understand the description written next to the item numbers. She said there was no excess for children, then told me the excess I pay (I'm not meant to pay an excess on Corporate plan) would be reimbursed to my company (What?).
Health insurance that doesnt pay out when you need it. Rips you off with massive premiums then leaves you with 1,000's of dollars for the gap. Definately NOT WORTH PAYING FOR.
Complete ripoff. Premiums go up every year, yet I do not get any benefit from them whatsoever. The government really needs to step up and stop BUPA and the other health funds gouging us mercilessly
