The three types of oysters were amazing. I loved the kilbuono and the vinaigrette. The parsnip with that lemon and parsley seed dressing was the best dish of the day. And the casarecce was lovely. Always have a great experience here at Buono.

What a meal. The food is amazing, the service is super attentive and friendly. We are already planning our next dinner. Highly recommended.)

If there was more Stars I could give, I absolutely would. My Boyfriend and I ate the Sunday for lunch, it was a quiet day and my boyfriend wasn’t getting his hopes up due to not many people.
WOW was he proven wrong (I’d alr read the reviews before I booked) the Service was outstanding, the Waiter literally made us feel like we were Royalty, he was attentive, prompt, kind, very helpful with the questions I asked, I have not had a Waiter or Waitress be that impressive (and we eat out a lot). Then the food came, 3 dishes, 1 Entree and 2 Main…. All cooked to perfection, beautifully plated and not pricey at all. My boyfriend works for a Company where they take a lot of Client's out for dinner to places like NOBU, and Vue De Monde, he is now going to bring his Clients to “Buono” in his words “that’s actually the best Italian food I’ve ever had”.

Hands down the most delectable restaurant we have visited in a long time. Fabulous atmosphere, incredible & attentive staff (special mention to James) phenomenal food and drinks! We will definitely be back sooner rather than later! So lucky to have this little treasure so close to home!

Ordered Polpo, Gnocchi, Pasta of the day and their signature Tiramisu with the cutest carrot ever. Tiramisu was just too good (and too cute) to be true.

Buono was more than buono - it was magnifico! All of our dishes were delicious. The owners were delightful and super friendly. The Italian wines were perfect! Their signature dessert dish, Overtto Alla Carbonara, was definitely memorable and superb … amazing taste and texture! Buono is a hidden little gem - a must visit! Highly recommended!

Took a hungry 2yo for a quick, early bowl of pasta today and was very impressed with the lovely service and the exceptional food and wine list. We will return! Thank you!

One of the best suburban Italian restaurants I've visited in Melbourne. Loved every single dish from the croquettes and the octopus to the risotto, crab pasta and the wagyu rump cap. Their signature black truffle gnocchi is recommended. The desserts were a wonderful way to finish. Definitely worth a visit if you're visiting in Parkdale.

My sister-in-law & I catch up monthly for lunch. I loved the reviews and was not disappointed. Both staff members were welcoming & knowledgeable about the menu, specials & wines. The food was absolutely beautiful.seasoned perfectly & fresh, light but filling! We even Manton eat dessert. We will definitely return.thank you Buono

If you are a meat lover, the Wagyu is the must ordered dish. We also found their entrée dishes are stunning as well! 10 out of 10, highly recommended place!

Lovely lovely restaurant! My friend and I didn’t have a booking but the staffs were so kind and accommodating! The pasta are so so delicious and the service is exceptional! Definitely a treat!

Celebrated an anniversary with my wife here and was astounded at how good it is. I'm a local and Parkdale isn't renowned as a culinary destination (at least not yet!) The food is excellent, the wait staff busy but very friendly, and it has a great selection of wines by the glass - Italian and local. I'm very pleased Buono picked Parkdale.:)

Absolutely delicious menu with excellent wine matches. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at the restaurant and they were attentive and gracious hosts, thank you for an excellent experience

I had the Ravioli with eggplant and sundried tomatoes inside. It was beautiful. One of my favourite Italian dishes to date. Service was good and prompt. Nice set-up inside. Serving sizes were smaller than some other places but I really liked that about the meal too. Nothing went to waste and I didn't feel like I was hungry for more or had over-eaten. 100% would come back.

Have been to this restaurant several times and it is always great. However on Monday night - while the food and service was excellent the Yuzu mocktail was not. This is the second time I have ordered it and I recalled the first time it was basically all ice which I completely forgot about it. Monday night's cocktail was the same - literally 3 sips and it was gone - even my girlfriends noticed. My other friend also ordered a mocktail and that had the correct ratio of ice to liquid. I complained to the bar waiter who made it and to the waitress but nothing was done about it. Well from now on - I'll just come and enjoy the food but will definitely not be ordering any mocktails - and so you know I would have ordered more than one. I know it's probably not a big deal for you because it's not actually alcohol and perhaps not a money spinner like your other alcoholic selections- but for someone who can't drink and this is my only alternative - it's not fair. Please do something about it (and don't say nobody else has ever complained about it - this has now been my experience twice)
