Bunnings Waurn Ponds reviews
57I only put one star so l could post review.will never be back, sell tools but dont sell the accessories needed with it.several tools like that.was about to spend 100's of $ on a mig welder, when l asked about it, just got an "l dont know bout that mate". L will just not bother.
Had the best experience with Chloe!
Being a novice in painting, I was super thankful when Chloe went above and beyond to help me outHer helpful guidance made everything a breeze!
This has been my local Bunnings for years now and it still feels like the best. The access point can be a bit janky because of the traffic lights then the pedestrian x-ing to JB Hi Fi however calm caution always gets you thru (and mild swearing under your breath if that fails). Staff always good and knowledgeable. While I may only come here for one or two things (today was 1600mm dowel and a work Esky), I always wander around to just enjoy the stock, the neatness and observe people doing their own wandering or shopping. Today I saw a pooch in a trolley, total cutie too. I've included photos of my fav aisles. I didn't get a snagger tho there was a tent up. By the way, if you wanna next-level your exit, you can exit around the side, it's usually quicker or at least calmer and you can then get on to the highway or do a u-bolt at the roundabout and scoot back towards Waurn Ponds.
Not happy. Advertise your hours as open to 7pm but that apparently does not include the timber yard. Do, what hours us the timber section open?
Generally the range s much the same as other Bunnings stores and I know that the best time to shop is mid week. Weekends are usually very busy and so limited parking and the staff are not as good as during the week.
Bunnings is good no issues.
The real issue is getting there.
No bus stop near Bunnings?
Plenty of bus stops at Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre.
You either have to walk 30 mins along a very unpleasant busy, hot Colac Rd from Waurn Ponds Shopping Centre or take a taxi.
It's ridiculous I'd rather go to Bunnings Torque were it's way more accessible for all who need it.
Always like going here. Busy as always but not overcrowded. Old lower price ticket on the gas bottle I wanted to buy but they honoured the ticketed price before removing the old ticket
I am not at all happy at putting a bad review on here and it was my preference to write a formal "complaint" or expression of my dis-belief in THREE very similar experiences I had at Waurn ponds in the last 2 months but I was advised by a much older women (my age) in the store who has been there for many years and is a dead set customer service guru that management will just not care about my issue. Every time, it involved young people and whilst irrelevant, it involved young females all 3 times. I noted their names and date times but will not bother going any further than this review. I held a trade card my self for many years and now have one as part of my son's business. For expediency, I will only detail one occasion but all 3 were materially the same. On these 3 occasions, there have been from 3 to 5 people waiting at the information desk to be served and on this one time, THREE staff were just chatting away about personal social stuff, then one young lass decided that it was time to re locate stock back to the shelves that was returned ALL while we all were just waiting to be served. On this time, we were all looking at each other in shear disbelief as 2 of them walked off to return stock but when the 3rd and last lass went to walk off, I politely interjected and said, "cant you see there are customers waiting to be served while you are about to walk off. Can you just serve us then do whatever you were going to do when there are no customers. " As mentioned, I was polite and when she looked at us standing in line in agreement of my comment, she blushed which was not my intention. She proceeded to serve us and in fact arranged for another lady to help her serve us. Now Bunnings is a huge company and my piddly review will mean nothing BUT and a huge BUT, this type of situation reflects on the so many amazing and helpful other staff in this store and while Bunnings will not care, I do about these more customer oriented and dedicated professional customer service staff. I was effectively born in a family business and ran my own “customer service” oriented business for over 25 years
Travelled a fair way as we ordered 4 lge screens on line for us to pick up but were not to be found on arrival Lovelly man Bryce walked all over Bunnings went to alot of trouble and found them even helped us with a trolly. Many thanks Bryce.
Seriously what is wrong with you guys.
What a low quality people you hiring bunnings?
I asked for help and do got help to be honest but as i turn around saying thank you, a loud sigh of relief.
Can't you wait a few more seconds lol.
Happens with me two times in a row.
Both by senior female staff.
May be a tactic to discourage customers for asking help next time.
Young staff and male workers are patient and know what their job is.
Take a note managers if you can.
Call Bunnings today to speak to special orders but no one is there to serve you when they open up in the morning And got told to call back at 8: 00am To speak to some one Which I think they should be operating when they first open Sounds like a pack of headless chooks running around and don't know what they're doingThe manager shouldThe manager should beThe manager should be making sure everyone is at the job and desk When the store opens Looks like they need to get a new manager
After ordering online and being told a product for Xmas gift was out of stock I called the store to find they had some! I spoke with Rhy who was fantastic as living rural nsw it’s hard to speak on the phone. She was professional compassionate and so helpful. We were then put on to Amelia whom was again fantastic. My mother in law went looking being shuffled from desk to desk until Amelia took over and the rest was flawless! Thankyou for making that process easy. Still awaiting a refund many days later but those two girls are excellent merry Christmas.
Never disappoints! Especially now there's flybuys points to obtain on each purchase. Gotta love that.
Bunnings is great and this particular store is no exception. I could walk around for hours and they always seem to have that hard to get part. The staff have done a great job dealing with enormous demand during the lockdowns. Love it
I went to buy lucky bamboos this afternoon and I'm so grateful for two female staff members who ran to me after I was tripped over by the kerb. Because my knees were too painful that couldn't stand up in the beginning. They ran to me and asked me whether I needed a chair or ice pack. Suddenly, I didn't feel pain at that moment. Thank them! I didn't know their names but I remember one staff member who ran to me first wearing a red uniform and wearing her hair in a bob. Another one with long hair. Thank them and thank Bunnings!
It's very busy. Every thing you might need for your renovations you can get a coffee as well as a snag
Person at checkout was too busy on their phone, when I walked to the other checkout I was motioned to go over to them. I should mention this was in the garden section.
Very nice store. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Always ready if you are looking for some item in store.
For the second time i found no one in the paint section nor did any staff walk through that area to ask. I waited for 10 minutes and no one apoeared mid morning Sunday. Plenty of customers were there and likewise would not be able to help. The previous time I went to in information desk and they put in a request and it still took ages for a staff member to attend. I went to Mitre 10 and received good service straight away from 1 of 2 staff in the paint section. Normally Bun ings is very good but they dont want to mix paints it woyld appear
Great product range but good luck trying to find a staff member to help. Not all departments, but certainly in two that consistently fall short for customer service.
It's easy to see when management have given them a rev up, but the improvement never lasts long.
