Bunnings Sunbury reviews
53 Always low on stock and always have to head to another suburb to get what we need. Being pregnant and not knowledgeable about nails, I was hoping the person at the trade desk near the nail section was going to assist (despite being advised the first time and getting the wrong nails for the nail gun I have). The staff member I spoke to named Adam was super unfriendly and refused to help nor assist.
He just kept pointing me to the shelf and basically asked me to go figure. He said he was going to help later but in the end he ignored me and helped other men instead.
I looked at him to signal for help but he didn’t even bat an eye.
DIY paradise. Whatever you are looking for bunnings will not disappoint you.very friendly and helpful staff
Rocked up on Sunday afternoon helping out my brother with some tapware issues (his Methven kitchen mixer had crapped itself after less than a year).
We flagged down young Jess "go go gadget arms" near the tapware section, now Jess was busy with something else but gave us directions to the trades service desk to resolve our issue.
The trades service desk staff were pretty dismissive and suggested that we go see the blue service desk near the tapware section, so we did.
We arrived and there was a couple there engaged with the solo staff member behind the counter, then a Karen couple tried to ambush Her whilst assisting them, by this stage my brother was getting annoyed and he decided to go save his wife at home with no water.
We were heading out to the checkout with a few other items and on the way past the paint desk Jess asked us if we'd sorted out issue, when we said "no", Jess with a determined look on her face and some computer wizardry gave us the information we needed to chase up a warranty claim on the product purchased from and installed by Bunnings Maribyrnong.
THANKS Jess you legend!
Sunbury bunnings is well stocked but I find some, not all, of the male staff in the tools area to have a bit of a chip on their shoulder, which makes the shopping experience less than ideal. I guess that's why they are in the "tool" area (pun intended)
Had a great experience this afternoon. I got honest and great advice from a lovely lady named Paula. Thank you for helping me navigate an area i wasn't sure with. I now feel confident in my small task of a temp fence with all of the right tools and products. Grateful to have a friendly person like yourself in our Sunbury store.
Always out of stock and won’t let you leave the tool area without paying, meaning you have to carry any bulky items into there to grab something little at the end of your shop. I frequently need to buy timber and a couple of small tools and it’s just a hassle
I was not very happy with the service from employees I was returning an ozito drill I had my receipt and all the drill pieces were there I told her I bought one and my sister bought one and I did not need two for my Dad showing her the two receipts I said can I return one and get a refund please she said no and said I can not get a refund but then after she finished talking to someone else she said to me all I can get is store credit it's there store policy what a joke.what sort of policy is that. Not happy.
I asked the staff in the timber section and they answered my questions thoroughly. Offered to lend me a trailer to take timber home.
Basically a great store with good staff.
Bunnings has a great culture generally
Big day for Sunbury bunnings and they did an amazing job taking care of customers needs and offering assistance.
The stock levels were great and we got everything we needed including few cheeky easter eggs
A big salute to Will at Bunnings Sunbury (Vic) for his terrific help today - Will (in Aisle 58 - Plumbing) needs some special recognition for his gun knowledge and superb service!
Everyone likes a poke around Bunnings. But sometimes you just want to go online, find the item, find the aisle, see it is in stock, then go inside directly, find it all to be so, get it and pay. So five stars for a quick in and out when you need it!
Congratulations Bunnings, staff are very helpful and don't just point to where you have to go, they escort you all the way.
One of the best Bunnings I've ever been in, staff are very friendly and helpful. You can always find what you need.
Love this store, I can spend hours apon hours here as the staff are probably already quiet aware hahah
Massive shout out to Kim who went above and beyond today with her outsanding customer service and amazing product knowledge.
Kim assisted us today with our new Webber bbq which we purchased last week, as we had no experience in this department (we burnt everything to a crisp lol).
She took the time to explain EVERYTHING and we are super greatful for her expertise and her genuine kindness. THANKS KIM
OK, so i am not a handy man, but was having all sorts attempting to cut pavers with my angle grinder. Went to Bunnings and was fortunate to talk with Bruce in the Tool Shop, yeah I know, anyway Bruce was exceedingly patient and took the time to show how to do the the job and the short cuts when changing discs. Instead of making me feel like an idiot he made my day. Thanks Bruce
Often quite busy but always the most helpful and friendly staff you'll ever meet. They'll go out of their way to assist and find what you're looking for both on the phone and in store.
Always a solid crew working at Bunnings Sunbury. Helpful and friendly, cheerful and lively. Great range of products of course!
Terrible customer service at about 9.40 am today from Donna at the front entrance. I went there to get some free boxes at the front of the store not go in the store. As I was not a tradie with a card, she told me I couldn't get them even though a different girl who was lovely, let me do this on the weekend. I fully understood and I asked her if she could pass them to me. She was very dismissive and stated that she couldn't leave her counter even though this would've taken 30 seconds and half the time she was just standing there doing nothing and the boxes were 20 metres from her. She then suggested maybe I should pay for boxes and then click and collect, I told her I didn't want to pay for them when I can get them for free. I then asked her can she call someone or wave to someone to pass them to me, she didn't make any effort to do this even though staff were walking past inside the store but instead suggesting AGAIN, that I would be better off paying for them. While we were waiting she let in a couple when only one had a tradie card with them and the other had left it at home so she was happy to break the rules then, funny that. It was only when another staff member came very close to the front right up to us with a trolley she had no choice but to ask him. He then passed me some boxes. Usually the staff are lovely here. Donna, if you don't like your job, find another, you are there to help people not dismiss them.
Have had mixed experience although the staff in the garden section especially the gentleman doing the watering where very helpful
