Bunnings Sale reviews
43There’s just nothing, literally nothing of you need to buy in Bunnings Sale compared to Traralgon or Bairnsdale
Over the last two years or so I have built a large house and commercial shed on my property. I have a commercial trade account as a builder based out of the Pakenham Trade centre. Trough my account manager in Pakenham I obtained my Bunnings quotes on just about all items for my projects and they were released to Sale store for collection.
When I went first went to pick up some gear the Sale store staff questioned me about using their trade account manager and I agreed, gave them my details and they were getting him to contact me. I'm still waiting.
While I understand it's a small store and most items I required were not stock items they were ordered in plenty of time and the items delivered by truck were professionally delivered and unloaded by crane truck driver with a smile.
However that's where it stops. Any items that I collected and transported I found the staff in general way below helpful to rude.
On one occasion and yes just before a lock down I decided to ensure I had all the internal fixing materials. Despite having one arm in a sling following a small operation no one came to help. Luckily my wife ran my daughter to get her to help. As per the attached photo this is what we loaded, despite plenty of staff walking around not one stopped to help or even said hello.
Even yesterday to load my sheet material in the yard area my wife and loaded the trailer while no staff member helped. To be fair there were 2 other customers in the yard. But surely 3 customers in the yard could expect help at the same time.
I found myself a one stage driving the extra hour round trip to Traralgon Bunnings store for better customer service.
I even made a point of having a meeting with one of the Sale joint managers to discuss how dissatisfied I had found the service at the store and it meant the one hour round trip from home to the Sale store took two hours to Traralgon. Nothing changed. I guess if it's broken at the manager level it's broken all the way down.
Yesterday no different. No helpful staff and not even a smile. I did get asked why my quote was done from a different store.
Bunnings what I do find hard is that with some of the builders in financial strife when I paid cash up front for over $100,000.00 dollars worth of gear not a smile or helpful Bunnings person from the manager down to be found.
Well below acceptable.
Do not have a lot of stock but fair, better go to Bairnsdale have more goods or Traralgon. Still the same
A friendly pleasant place to shop locally. A good array of hardware and especially garden needs. Excellent customer service in garden shop.
I ordered online at the Warrigal store who had what I wanted in stock for delivery. Common sense says the store can post items. I get a phone call saying the store does not send deliveries to sale. My order was sent through to Sale who do not have the items in stock. No brainer the online website already showed me that; hence I ordered from another store for delivery. Bunnings do not offer other stores as a delivery option if you cannot provide the service. Online shopping suggest you can purchase from other stores out of your area if stock is unavailable. You need to remove this option as it is misleading. Outcome was that Sale were very helpful in organising a compromise to my order.
Very small Bunnings store. Check their product catalogue before going because they don't always have thingsnin stock and you'll have to drive out to Bairnsdale.
Staff are very friendly. Some I have asked for locations of items and they haven't known (not as knowledgeable about their items like other large stores I've been to) so now I just use the product catalogue to find d what I want.
Carpark is dangerous as there is a short 25m road into it that people just tear down and dont slow down when the carpark starts. Council really need to put in a speed bump. Almost run over everytime I go there.
I love Bunnings, I go in there looking for one thing and come out with extra's, it's like going to the supermarket
Small Bunnings with a limited range. Best to check online if it stocks what you are looking for
I have been to Bunnings in sale Victoria for a number of years, Lately I have found the stuff to be rude an unhelpful, I have reported to the manager on two separate occasions about the rude an unprofessional treatment of there customers, I refuse to shop there know an travel to a deferent store as they are more friendly, pick up your game sale Bunnings
Like a regular Bunnings, but smaller and with less in-stock items. The website's database on what is in stock is pretty accurate, and the staff are always pleasant to deal with. The car park can be a free-for-all, demolition derby-style experience when it's busy. 5 stars.
Unfriendly and tyrannical people on entering the place. Only in sale have I found this sort of behaviour from staff. Would not recommend this store at all.
Go to Traralgon or Bainsdale
Personally I always find the Sale Bunnings store a great place to shop, good prices and helpful staff. Sure it can be busy and finding a free staff member to help you immediately may take a bit of time during these busy times but that's understandable. I do not shop in other Bunnungs stores so do not know how much extra stock they hold but on the occasion this store is out of or does not stock what I require the staff at the desk order it in without fuss from another store. I receive my orders quite quickly, on one occasion they rang me that very afternoon with the items I required. A bonus for weary shoppers is the cafe, the best coffee is made here and the friendly barrista Susan makes the day even more wonderful with her magnificent brew, Overall 5 stars and a huge thankyou Bunnings.
Typical Bunnings but what I like about the Sale store is it's location. You're in the centre of town and still close to everything as opposed to being in some industrial estate out the back of Burke somewhere. Also with Covid-19, they are still big on Health and Safety which is great to see. Well done Bunnings Sale.
Good friendly staff bit naive Ive seen at least two thieves walk straight out of there one pretending to be on the phone it wasn't even on look at there shoes if ya can't afford shoes and don't buy anything and have a massive bag and is wondering back a forth in front of the door waiting till the door staff is busy well I bet a hundred bucks his not just looking
Daphne gives Bunnings a 5 star rating for the wonderful assistance 2 ladies at front desk gave her at 7.30am this morning - providing a cardboard floor for the trolley. It enhanced her shopping experience no end. Daphne will be back.
Love to see all staff to smile, get the feeling some people need a bit of training in how to be cheerfull, maybe management need to have a look at the staff at work.
I went into Bunnings for some lights and I couldn’t find what I was looking for so I asked one of the ladies at the register (I think her name was Kirsten?) she was so lovely and very helpful and happy to help. Will definitely be going back just to see the happy team members.
Went in to get potting mix. Had a coffee and Hot Cross Bun in the Bunnings Cafe. Excellent coffee served by a wonderful barista (Christine). Very pleasant experience.
I knew what I wanted Always enjoy going to bunnings Generally know what I want but love looking around. The staff are always friendly and helpful.
Fast moving items always seem to be out of stock! When travelling hour and half round trip and you cant buy 42mm arc or selleys exterior no more gaps then something's wrong with their restocking system. Always the same std excuse that comes out their mouth, suppliers some one else didn't re order etc.
