Been going here since moving to the area 3 years ago. I was driving past the store and remembered I needed to grab a couple of those free cardboard boxes to move with. Walked in and said hi to the "greeter", (assuming her name is Karen) at the front, went to the free cardboard box cage. "Greeter Karen" asked what i was doing. "Just getting a couple of boxes" i replied. She then proceeded to tell me that I can only have two because the cage isn't full. She tone was trash and I was made to feel guilty and bad for taking cardboard 2 boxes! That are for customers to use! Westfarmers made $2BILLION worth of profit in the last FY and you want me to feel bad about taking 2 cardboard boxes. In a cost of living crisis? ! Get a grip. I can see that that good old "mateship" Aussies are so proud of is strong with this Karen.

Hi Bunnings, normally I don’t reach out but I really just had to say something about the horrendous staff member at the Millpark vic store in the tool shop. Monique.
My partner and I were looking for a blower vacuum (of course had the bright idea on Christmas Eve to try to tidy the leaves in the back yard for Christmas Day celebrations) so we raced over to trusty Bunnings never having a problem before! We went to the section with the blowers and noticed literally all of them had no battery included. My partner was in the blower section googling which one is best etc. So whilst he was taking his time doing that I tried to speed up the process by going to find the battery for the ryobi one. Monique behind the counter saw me walk into the tool shop section.no customers there.no help offered.great ignored ok that’s fine. I found the battery on my lonesome then went to try to match it in the blower section. (I actually had 2 to see which one my partner thought was best) and then without warning. Monique screamed “you can’t take that out of the tool shop” my ears were ringing. I was like ok that’s fine, a little shocked that she spoke because I still hadn’t been greeted or asked if I needed help but ok… then I called my partner to come over to the tool shop with the blower vac.obeying the store policy. He then came with a makita blower vacc. Great I put the ryobi battery packs back and we proceed to find the right battery for this one.low and behold it was behind a locked cabinet right at the register with Monique just standing there with her doom and gloom stare. We literally went up to the counter looked at the battery’s and she completely ignored us again.
I realised this is not a coincidence and she really is a bad egg. So I said let’s not worry about it and pick up the leave. I’d rather get my finger nails dirty then risk another death stare. So we proceeded to take the blower vac back to the aisle we got it from and…. Monique screams again. “YOU CANT TAKE THAT OUT OF THE TOOL SHOP”. The blower vac we got from the aisle and brought into the tool shop? ! She is really bad for business and on Christmas Eve when I have so much to do I am finding myself compelled to let you guys know… I was going to make a tik tok about it because it’s just that bizarre. Please investigate as I too am in customer service and would never ever represent my employer like that. Thank you and Merry Christmas

Good Bunnings. Pleasant, helpful staff. Found everything I wanted so the stores people must be working hard this time of year. Not too hard to find park and the sausage sizzle was running. Not sure if it was because of the public holiday or if they have one each day.

Great Bunnings. Staff are very friendly and helpful. It's a bit bigger than some other close by Bunnings so they usually have things that you can't find at other stores. It was really hot on the day I went in but in store they had a lot of air flow and some cool air coming in so it wasn't too hot inside. Got everything I went in for and a little more.

I was at this Bunnings store today at about 7.30pm. After looking for a decking stain for about 20 minutes I needed help. There was no one at the paint desk as it was that time of day and I have no complaints as I realise that at this time there are only skeleton staff. A staff member called for an appropriate person to help me. After a long wait at the paint desk, Angie eventually arrived. When I asked for a certain brand of stain, she just pointed to the aisle where I had been earlier and could not find it. I told her so and asked if she could help me. She was extremely rude and reluctant to walk over to where the product was. When I asked her again her facial expression was extremely rude again. I generally find this store to be good but Angie certainly is the rotten apple.

Don't see the point in having all these staff at the counter if only one person can help with specific service so you have to wait forever. What a waste of human resources and wages

Not enough stock of the budget storage containers (Montgomery), and completely sold out off most sizes. The Bunnings App is usually wrong on stock levels. Staff do their best but there’s a flaw in the system. FYI. I’m a big fan of Bunnings.

Only accept vax sheep, apparently afraid of unvax free thinking people when with a mask a while ago it was fine but now afraid of unvax and still need a mask. The lack of logic is amazing. Boycott them and save your money, shop at aumanns across the raid.

Pretty bad on bunnings part, the security gaurd checking Vax certificates, wasn't wearing his mask.

What's the use of being double vaxed, if the security guard is spreading the covid19

What I can't get at Eltham store, can get what I need at Mill Park. I use the Bunnings app to see which store has what I need. The app is great for doing a list, seeing if available, adding the price and final shows where everything is. Sausage sizzles are back on. It doesn't get any better than Bunnings

Please for the sake of everyone, train your staff… You have plenty of friendly, capable staff members who aren’t being properly utilised, resulting in long waits for customers for seemingly simple tasks, like hiring, returning, special orders, etc.

Even as I write this, I’m currently watching one of your employees managing multiple hiring enquires while having to call someone on the phone all at the same time… Meanwhile I can see 3 checkout staff doing absolutely nothing, because they’re not trained to do something as simple as a hire return.

Terrible experience at Mill Park Bunnings today- heavily pregnant and with a toddler in tow- made sure i got there early to get a park out the front of the garden centre. After shopping for 30mins they closed the garden centre register (!). I asked a staff member in the garden centre who didn’t appear to be doing much of anything if they would reopen soon, as my car was immediately out the front of this section and the trolley was heavy- without any compassion or care was told they couldn’t help- and could only open the gate to let me out after i walked to the middle again to pay- disgraceful

I love going to bunnings and the young staff on the registers in the garden area are lovely.
The older women are not helpful at all, I have been there twice this week and ask two different women questions s about the plants and they both were rude, when I mentioned it to one of the young girls she said that is no surprise.
One woman had short white hair. I am going to thomastown from now on.

Asian hate even spreads to bunnings? Trying to enter at the garden centre with my vacc proof but refused told by the young staff 'exit only'. Then instantly 3 other locals I would say 'non-asian looking' getting let in without even checking the qr code. Thats not a discrimination at bunnings! Disgusting behavior! Asian be ready to be treated like non human at this bunnings!
