Nicely displayed, but I wish it was more extensive and detailed. The thousands-of-years old Aboriginal culture certainly deserves it, just like the interested visitors. However, what is there is quite good and well presented.

It doesn't seem to me to charge 15 dollars for an exhibition of aboriginal cultures to which they do not recognize their status, nor give representation. It is only in English, there is no audio guide in any other language

When a Gundtijmara man shows you through, and points out all the people who have made Victoria.you feel like royalty!

Fantastic museum. One of the best in the nation. Wonderful displays and exhibitions. I particularly enjoyed the Blue Whale skeleton. The insect display and Phar Lap were also amazing. Very highly recommended

This is a must-see. It is a thoughtfully curated exhibit through history, about indigenous people's experiences and stories. There were some very harrowing and heartbreaking segments related to the arrival of white settlers. I feel like this should be in mandatory education.

Great museum is full of interesting and well-displayed exhibits. You can follow a historic path of Australia. Some of it is harrowing and reverent.

An Absolute must see! The first peoples exhibition is absolutely incredible and the garden walk is incredibly informative. So much time & care has gone into creating this centre and it shows.

Absolutely gorgeous. Mum and I loved it. As this is a positive review it will get published by Google. If I had a bad experience at this place - based on my experience - reviews wouldn't publish it.

Just so it's clear the above remark is in no way directed towards Bunjilaka but towards reviews.
Basically if you write a positive review (because you had a positive experience) it gets published but if you had a negative experience you can check a year later and chances are your negative review didn't get through. This is especially true for medical and aged care. I've seen negative comments towards receptionists and cleaners but never someone powerful - like a doctor.
Hence you cannot trust reviews in respect to medical services. The dodgiest doctors will have a 5 star rating from multiple accounts who have given NO details. Probably staff being forced to put up the reviews.

What a wånderful center to discover in the Melbourne Museum which had an exhibition Gung by Kelly Koumalatsos who took a tradition and created her own through the possum skin and fashion. Highly recommend a visit to both!

I found this exhibition to be from the perspective of white Australians and it didn't feel authentic. The whole experience was a bit off

Very thoughtful and informative exhibit. I really appreciated how all the information was told by indigenous perspectives. The information is heartbreaking but so important. Very educational and worth a visit to the museum in itself! This area is within the Melbourne Museum and access is gained with a general admission ticket, which is $15 for general public or free for concession.

Truly a hidden gem! It's next to the Melbourne Museum and can be overlooked but it's very good. The range of artifacts and stories is really interesting. I took some visitors here and learned a lot of stuff that I didn't even know. There's this one section on Buckley but from the Koorie point of view, it was very interesting! Visit!
