Bundoora Park Farm and Cafe reviews
57Our 2 yo loved the animals, the tractor and the big slide of the playground. Coffee at the cafe is alright and there are nappie changing facilities
A great place to have a leisurely walk. Many ways you can go. You can stop at the cafe for a bite to eat or have a wander round the farm
Or why not take the track to the Art Gallery and the Cottage.
Beautiful caring place. Cafe staff lovely and animals well kept and free to roam. Beautiful place for a day out! Well done
It was my wish to visit a farm house since childhood, and it got fullfiled by visiting here.
Absolutely amazing place, especially look out point.
And also got my first break up here.
Grass is a bit sparse but the park is huge with plenty of good playgrounds and open nature spaces. You need to book the gazebos in advance on the weekend, and if you do you'll want to get there early and give them a rinse out
Pretty cool to be able to walk among the chickens, rabbits and guinea pigs. Get to touch the guinea pigs. Somewhat small but much more interactive than other farms and zoos. Also a couple do great playgrounds.
I think as a farm to take kids to I think it's pretty good, it is what it is - it's not a zoo but a small farm, with a good but quaint range of farm animals as well as emus and kangaroos. It has a large play ground and a decent cafe so good for a little outing. Our daughter liked feeding the horse there the most.
Nice paths to walk on and see nature and the mangroves. Overall I think it's a good free place for activities or get togethers.
One of the most comfortable and friendly places ive ever visited for a coffee and something to eat, with plenty of wildlife around for extra effect.
Simple small menu but nice, friendly service and a lovely view of the park. Was quiet mid week, perfect for a long chat catch up.
The park itself was nice and spacious with a big playground for children. There were not too many animals but it was still a good experience seeing them upclose. The onsite cafe was not good. Menu was very limited, food was boring and the male staff at the cafe was just racist. One staff at the park yelled at a customer: "DON'T WALK IN FRONT OF ME! OYYYY! " when that customer was crossing the road and happened to walk in front of that man's horse carriage. That customer was Indian looking so don't know if a white customer would be yelled at like that? Other people who witnessed it also thought that staff was crazy. Anyway it's a nice park if it's a self serve cafe and don't have to deal with the staff who work here. They're not nice at all.
Great place especially for the kids.lots to see and do.great friendly helpful staff.yoy must try their homemade scones with jam and cream.truly unbeatable.go for a visit with the kids.you'll be pleasantly surprised.
Nothing really interesting, the Cafe is quite old and quite a long wait to get what you order. It definitely needs an upgrade.
Not very exciting, the horse rider stopped in the middle of the road for the horse to pee which was disgusting knowing that everyone is walking there and it's near the entrance and playground.
I think they should take more care and provide a better experience for visitors.
Really nice place for kids and adults, many fun stuff to do and lots to look at! I recommend this place for anyone who loves animals and nature.
Nice place to walk with the family, some of the staff aren't very welcoming especially the short blonde haired lady at the reception desk (maybe she needs a break)
Great place to take the kids for a few hours. You need to pay for the tractor ride but that is where you will get to see the kangaroos. Entry fee and attractions are fairly inexpensive. Cafe only offers rolls and wraps it's fairly basic.
This is a great little farm for the family. It has plenty to see and do. Great for the kids to experience being up and close to animals.
The farm its self is wonderful, we took our son and he had a ball.my issue was the lady on the cash desk. Cracking a smile wouldnt kill you, being kind costs nothing, I was polite when we approached the desk, she didnt ask how old my child is, charged us full price, when I said we are concession holders and proceeded to get our card out, not realising we accidently grabbed an out of date card, she was so rude about it, we had the correct one in the wallet, and she appeared annoyed, she "tapped" my card with out asking, didnt apologize for it, her attitude towards us was horrible, the next people through the door were clearly anglo and she was kind and polite to them, perhaps its because my husband and I are european but honestly it was so uncalled for. I think she needs a refresher in customer relations and service if it is her main job to liase with the customers.
I’ve been here a few times. It’s a good spot for meeting up with friends for coffee. However the food options for people with FODMAP or similar issues are nearly non existent. Especially if you want a meal.
This is a beautiful big park. With several lakes. The farm looked great we did not get to visit it as it was getting late.
