Meng is an excellent piano teacher, and Stephanie the singing teacher is amazing. My daughter enjoyed her study here!

The teachers are professional, very kind and especially patient to young kid. Except Piano, there are also a lot of other choices, for example, art and Gita.

Was looking at an art class for my daughter. Management and organisation needs improvement. Contact for the centre is a woman always on the run between home duties and not on site. Art teacher was late and brought her son to join the class. Other teachers at the centre have no idea. More for older kids for private piano and violin classes.

Based on the reviews posted, it appears Bumblebee has earned itself a reputation for encouraging staff to hide their rates, lying about the rates their teachers will receive and having their own employees post reviews to keep their ratings up.

Having personally dealt with a previous employee of Bumblebee Arts Centre who was subjected to the above, I can safely say that I would personally never attend nor recommend anyone else attends until they start to treat their staff properly.

The director Meng Tuena took me on as a Piano Teacher, clearly advising me she would pay me $42 per hour and "even more later on". I provided 6 piano lessons for her, to only have her turn around and say that the rate is only $17 per hour.

@Mary Jakovac, lol you are cooked mate, for new teachers there is a raise after 3 months, also you taught 30 minute lessons why do you expect to get paid for an hour? I've been working with Meng for 2+ years, always got paid promptly.

Meng has been my son's piano teacher for almost four years. Her passion for music is encapsulated in her weekly lessons, that motivated my son to strive for perfection！We have also become close friends over the years.

My younger bother has also started to learn piano from Meng this year. I observed the difference in style of teaching that Meng apply to him from that to my son, as he's much more patient and mature.

My family are so grateful to know Meng, and to continue enjoying the beauty of music with her.

Meng accompanied me for my cello AMEB exam. She could play her parts highly accurately and musically at short notice and accompanies with excellent sensitivity and musicality. She was a very supportive and encouraging accompanist.

Meng is an excellent pianist and accompanist, having heard her play and been in duet with her at the Conservatorium of Melbourne University for three years. I would highly recommend her as a piano and theory teacher as well as an accompanist due to her extensive experience in all these fields.
