We had a very pleasant stay at Buln Buln Cabins. After a warm welcome we had a relaxed time in a very clean cabin. The location is perfect, not far from Wilsons promontory. We definitely would go back for a stay at Buln Buln

We stayed here for my birthday this past weekend and all I can say is WOW! Richard gave us the warmest welcome and was so helpful and knowledgeable of the area. The cabin was the CLEANEST place we probably have ever stayed in, absolutely everything you could need and more. Extra toothpastes, dvd’s, slippers, wine, choccies and a coffee machine? We were in heaven. The cabin overlooks the ocean, the ranges and a paddock with cows and wildlife. My partner paid for the accomodation but whatever he did pay I am 100% certain that it is worth it. My fiancé and I stayed here for 3 nights. It was a real pleasure and we found it very sad to have to leave again. Definitely we would come again. Everything was so incredibly clean and warmly provided. We enjoyed staying here very much. The surroundings are very quiet, the view incredibly beautiful and the whole complex kept in top shape. The hosts were very friendly. Wilson Prom is about 40 minutes away by car. Thank you very much.

Richard and co! What can I say, honestly I’ve never been to such a thoughtful and well laid out cabin/house on air bnb.

Highlights include: pizza oven and bbq area and the perfectly manicured garden with the wildlife to go with it.
So good to have all the little things you need for a stay looked after like soap salt pepper etc.

Richard also went through the trouble to post an item that we forgot at the cabin back to Melbourne… legend.

We stayed in Cabin 2 for two nights to explore the nearby Wilsons Prom in May 22.

The room is one of the cleanest I've ever stayed in the last 20 years of travel. Really shows how proud the owners are taking care of the place. Everything you need is provided on terms of cooking appliances, even salt and pepper.

I love watching the beautiful sunrise from the balcony with a cuppa. It's just magical.

It's only a short drive from the gates of Wilsons Prom National Park. Small towns nearby if you need some last minute supplies or want to go out for a feed.

Will highly recommend to people wanting a quiet, comfortable stay when visiting the area.

Cannot recommend this place enough. Amazing accomodation. Short drive from Wilson’s Prom. The perfect place for a getaway with your special someone. Amazing clean and presented. Did not expect this level of hospitality. Richard has been amazing and has something very special here. Will definitely be coming back.

This was my second stay in the Barn at Buln Buln cabins. I stayed a couple of days in 2021 and came back for a full week 2022! The property is quiet, picturesque and perfectly located for exploring the Prom and surrounds. The Barn is clean, beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable and well equipped with everything you need. Richard is a wonderful host! Highly recommend the Barn at Buln Buln cabins! Looking forward to staying again in the future!

Stayed in cabin 2. Great view. Clean. Easy to organise. Close to Wilsons promontory and sandy bay for day trips. Would highly recommend staying here.

Have been coming here every summer for the last couple of years. Have found the cabins well fitted out and exceptionally clean and comfortable for the price. All three 2 bedroom cabins are adequately spaced for privacy and peace and quiet. Excellent base for exploring the Prom and nearby winery etc. Found the proprietor to be welcoming and unobtrusive.

The owner, Richard, was inflexible, lacked empathy and understanding, and refused to help when I asked for a cancellation and refund for my 3-night stay more than two weeks out from my travel dates (and only 4 days after the original booking was made). This meant losing near to $500 for a logistical error on my part.
This could have been easily remedied if Richard had been even slightly more helpful.

Don't expect to receive any show of kindness when you arrive, and in these times too. Haven't we had it rough enough already?
When someone like Richard is unwilling to help a fellow Australian avoid a $500 penalty for no expense on his own end.call me crazy. It must be 2021.

Last time we were here was two years ago, glad we chose to come back better this time. Great updates everything is looking fresh inside and outside of our two bedroom cabin.

Cute little place clean and with everything you need, love the dvd collection made our nights very enjoyable and nice to sit out on the deck. Thanks Richard for welcoming us on arrival and printing out all the walks we can do. Very helpful and I will highly recommend very enjoyable experience.

We stayed this place during the Easter Holiday, 2019. We rented the loft house and the studio which is attached to the house. It has been an extremely unpleasant and harsh experience for us. I do not really know how and where to start. #1, The owner stays in their house next door and they are very nasty and unfriendly. They behaved like a policemen. Whenever there was someone coming to the house we rented, the owners would rush into the property and inspect. For god sake, we were there for holiday! It was so uncomfortable! #2, The place claims to have three bathrooms. In fact it is only one semi properly functioned bathroom for up to 12 people. The main bathroom does not have vanity unit and there is only one wash tub which is supposed being used in the laundry. The 'second' bathroom does not have vanity, only a shower, and the "third" one only has a toilet which should be named as a powder room in the normal house. It is not suitable for the large group of people. #3, After all of this horrible experiences, the owner refused to return the deposit we paid ($500) to us!

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was the best decision we have made. The owners greeted us on arrival and were so kind and lovely. We are a party of four and it was great to all have beds and not pull out couches. The cabin was very clean and so comfortable and warm and cosy. The cabin had everything we needed including DVDS, all the way to the kitchen cloth and tea towels that have been ironed! Clearly the owners take pride in presentation. We will be back for sure. Thank you Buln Buln Cabins for having us.

My family and I stayed here at the house and we are very happy, it was freshly painted with new curtains and carpet and it was the cleanest place we ever stayed in. My parents were very impressed especially coming for a visit from overseas. The owners Richard and Megan were very nice and helpful and gave us plenty of tips on what to visit, Wilsons Prom park was amazing so close only 10 min from the house. We will remember here and will love to visit again.

This is our second time coming to Buln Buln Cabins, last time we stayed for two nights in a cabin but this time we decided to stay for 7 nights and try the house. We had such a relaxing time that we didn’t want to leave. On arrival the owner Richard was very welcoming and it was really nice that we were greeted with a bottle of wine and chocolates, they even have a big variety of teas to offer, my wife is a tea fanatic so she really appreciated the variety. We watched the sunrise in the mornings and sat in front of the wood heater in the evenings. We were able to cook in the large kitchen, it had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. Perfect for an old chap like me with back issues. All in all we would say a big 10 out of 10 for comfort, cleanliness, and location very convenient half way to the Prom and Foster.

Comfortable self contained cabins half way between Foster and Wilson's Promontory. The owners are great, the view is lovely and it's so peaceful.

We have been coming to Buln Buln cabins since 2014. We love this place for its location, beautiful views and wonderful owners. The new owners took over last year and the cabins look even better, they have updated a lot of things and the grounds are spotless. They are warm, friendly and always willing to help. They go out of their way to make our experience memorable and it always is. It’s our home away from home and we look forward to our getaways, we now come twice a year. So check this place out and enjoy it’s beauty and friendly environment!
