-The Feed Punchers went for a walk in St Kilda and stumbled upon a Vietnamese restaurant named, ‘Bullseye Banh Mi’.
-The name of the restaurant already predetermined what we were going to punch. We tried both the roast pork and the braised pork banh Mi’s.
-The roast pork was cooked perfectly, succulent, full of fatty flavour and excellence, sided with a perfect crackling which was crispy and slightly charred.
-The braised pork was incredible, falling apart like a succulent pulled pork and melting in the mouth, full of fatty flavour. It was also sided with the crackling.
-Both banh mi’s had fresh chilli, pate, coriander and spring onion, which were presented on a crispy and soft, freshly baked, white bread roll.
-The only downside was that the carrots weren’t properly pickled. Other than this, these banh Mi were of extreme high quality.
-The BBQ chicken Pho had an incredibly warming, pleasantly flavourful broth, which encompassed a perfect mix of boney, salty and spicy flavours into each spoonful. The noodles were soft and the bbq chicken was tender and added a nice Smokey touch to the soup.
-The bbq chicken rice paper rolls combined the tender and smoky chicken with carrot, cucumber, lettuce and vermicelli noodles. These fresh rolls, dipped into the peanut hoisin sauce was a great combination.
-Overall, a very impressive feed, beautifully constructed Vietnamese flavours with quality ingredients.

Best Bahn mi in Melbourne! I have been coming here regularly for almost 2 years, and every time, I am incredibly impressed! I should also add delicious soups and rice, noodle bowls!

Busy lunch time service with every table full so it was a decent wait for a take away Bahn Mi, but to be honest I’d wait another 20 mins for the quality of this. Full of crackling and pork and filling and flavour, bread roll crunchy as a perfect fry. Unbelievable value & quality it’s not hard to see what the queue is out the door on and off. Take away is usually pretty average in this part of St Kilda, there is nothing average about Bullseye Banh Mi. Superb.

This is the best banh mi place in melbourne 100% no arguments.i’ve been coming here for almost a year since i started working nearby and my bank account has SUFFERED.the meat is always succulent the vegetables are always perfectly crispy but slightly pickled and they always put the perfect amount of pate, sauce, chilli and coriander (though sometimes i do ask for a little extra to keep life interesting). The service is amazing and you can see the care put into it.they remember their regulars and always make sure to catch up with them.it’s everything you want in a local joint.

Customer service is good, the menu is very varied and the food has incredible flavor and is not expensive. I recommend it.

Has to be my favourite bayside crispy pork banh mi. I often plan my trips around driving by in time for lunch it’s that good.

Great flavour. Texture and portion size for value. Finally ate in rather than take away with 2 others accompanying me.

Friendly hello and service. Asked for table to be wiped and got it promptly attended to, with a pleasant smile.

Best serving. They don’t cut up a tiny slice of pork and spread it thinly over the salad to pretend it’s a pork bun like so many places currently do.

Bullseye is my very favourite Banh Mi!
I love the tofu roll. Juicy, tasty tofu, crunchy roll, fresh veggies. It's absolutely delicious! If you prefer extra/no chilli/ coriander/ hoi sin salad just ask, the owners are lovely. The shop is super cute and squeaky clean. Love it!

Best Banh Mi in Melbourne! Other options also great, particularly grilled pork vermicelli and braised pork and rice.

As a banh mi lover, I’ve tried so many banh mi in different cities. I’ve always thought the best is in my home city Brisbane until I had the one here. The waiting time is long but worths it. The crispy pork was very well marinated and the fresh veggies gave a great balance to the flavor.

Tasty food! Been a regular here for years.

Can recommend the pho and the dry noodle with meat.

An excellent Banh Mi. Authentic with a twist - slow cooked chopped pork with crispy bits and a roll that won't tear up your mouth. Friendly service and an awesome place for a quick lunch in St. Kilda.

Probably the worst Bahn mi I’ve eaten, and I’ve eaten a lot of Bahn MI’s. Bread was soggy soon as they gave it to me it fell apart. Pork was over cooked. It’s a shame South Melbourne Markets was closed due to being Good Friday. A lot of people in there. They might have just had a bad day.

Great spot for a quick bite with a wicked crispy pork banh mi. The bun is light and flaky with delicious melt in your mouth pork. The spicy is not too spicy so if you like the heat get a double serve of chilli. Make sure you grab a napkin as you’ll be licking your fingers and wiping your mouth as it’s loaded with sauce

The rice paper rolls come in serves of two which I didn’t think was an adequate lunch so I ordered 2x2 without realising they would be quite hefty. Nevertheless I managed to demolish them preferring the prawn over the chicken. The dipping sauce was delish also

All customer need to be treated with respect and especially with the girl with short hair that roll the ricepaper she need to fix her attitude and stop rolling her eyes at viet customer

Top 5 if not the best Bahn Mi you can get in melbourne. It’s loaded with toppings and easily fills you up. Price a bit high for a Bahn mi but it’s worth every penny.

Got the braised pork roll. It’s amazing as before but service was quite slow. Worth the wait though. I never thought I’d say this but, it almost has too much meat (in a good way)! I had to share it with my partner because I can’t finish it myself

First time here. I had the BBQ chicken roll. People are lovely, food was tasty. Ill be back for sure.
