Bullrun café

A solid brunch place.

Nice, tucked-away cafe right next to a graffiti alley. Coffee was great, and I got the bacon and egg muffin which was very delicious. Service was nice and fast, so was food and coffee despite being very busy. Bullrun is the closest cafe to Grand Hyatt after Lune, which had a ridiculously long line I wasn't prepared to join just for coffee and a bite to eat.

Note: as of Dec the front signage isn't great and the Google pin wasn't exactly in the right spot (I've since updated), so I walked a loop into the graffiti alley by mistake before finally finding Bullrun. See pictures below.

Had breakfast here on a Saturday morning and would recommend. Staff were friendly and quick to take our order. Coffee was great; food was great. The only thing that I would have liked was a bit more bacon with our breakfast. I’ve seen photos posted from others and it looks good, so maybe just a one off. I’d eat here again the next time I’m in town.

Absolutely delicious food. Generous servings and very friendly staff. The Bulls omelet and smashed avo were first rate. The coffee is the best that I have had in Melbourne. Worth a try if you are in the city

Good cafe in a central location, ok coffee, good food, fast and friendly service. Reasonable pricing, and decent portion.

This was such a lovely place to have a morning breakfast with my partner! The coffee was wonderful and the avocado smash on sourdough was absolutely delicious, Luna provided such wonderful service too! Definitely excited to come back here soon!

Great value breakfast - $10 for eggs on toast. The poached eggs were perfectly cooked. Old school family run diner. No fancy decor but the service is quick and the food was delicious. Highly recommend.

Was here for a quick coffee and grab-and-go brekkie. The line can be quite long in the morning before office hour.

Huge seating area and very efficient service, also a coffee cart at the door if you just want a take away. Chilli scramble was delicious although let down by some very ordinary white bread, but lovely side chutney that added some real depth. Decide is very basic.

I was searching around for big breakfast (BBF) that comes with hash brown and I found it at Bullrun Cafe! The BBF comes with 3 pieces of middle bacon (a little dry), 2 pieces of bread, grilled half tomato, one sausage, mushrooms (well seasoned), baked beans (which I requested to remove them) and a crispy hash brown. The price is reasonable ($21) for the portion. Will come again when I return to Melb.

Had a breakfast burger yesterday, simply delicious, super fast and friendly service. Clean and lovely ambience as well. Highly recommended!
