5The concrete surface is not smooth, not suitable for skate boarding, check the other comments, it seems disrepair for at least 3 years: (currently the council building new playground facilities next to the skate bowl, hope that they would repair the skate park concrete in the near future.
Gentle snake down to a deeper bowl. It's a bit crunchy in the shallow end at the top, but nice and smooth further down.
Not much flat ground for beginners, but decent.
If you skate you have to skate here sometime. Much improved bowl and has some challenging obstacles. Bring a broom. It's right under a gumtree.
The place is not big. The bowl is great for cycling, skating, skateboarding and scooters. Depends on the day and time, it can get a bit crowded and may be a bit intimidating for young kids. There's a decent children's playground about 100 metres from the bowl with water fountain.
A lot of doggy poo. Don't have a picnic on the grass here. Skate bowl needs a lot of work.
