Bullant Brewery reviews
34Food was awesome. I'm not a beer drinker so I didn't bother with that. They had lots of other drinks. The staff were friendly and helpful but struggled with the business of the day maybe needed more staff but I realise it's hard to get enough staff these days. All in a pleasant experience.
Stopped off on my way back to Canberra wanting a good coffee. Large flat white double shot one an half sugars, extra hot please! Well very disappointed, certainly wasn't double, hardly any sugar, not extra hot, and it wasn't even filled to the top, would have taken it back but was already on my way. They might do good beer but they certainly can't make a good coffee. I find this often, very hard to find a Cafe who know what a good coffee is, considering the price they charge now.
Came here with the family of four. Waitress was lovely, but wait time too long considering hardly any customers.
My husband paid $30 for a very small dish of lemon chicken (apparently under the big bite section). Ver stingy!
Pizza’s were average and over priced.
I would not recommend this restaurant.
Mother's day spent at relaxing Bullant Brewery enjoying the sampling platter of in house beers and a Banh mi. Also had a good yarn with the Brewer Neil. Exchanged stories over a beer or three!
We had lunch at Bullant Brewery whilst in the local area and were left disappointed. The service was poor and not very friendly (eg we were seated and left; menus were only offered once we got up to grab them; water for the table was not brought for over 30 minutes; my husbands pot of beer was forgotten and only poured after I went to the bar to ask) - and there was confusion over ordering as the kitchen orders were “on hold” during our period there (they were pausing orders on and off during the time we stayed, prior to the kitchen closing at 2pm).
The menu items were expensive and of generally poor to average quality. I had the vegetarian dumplings ($18 for six), which were over cooked (falling apart) and served with a few salad greens. My husbands burger, whilst tasty, was small for $28 and served with over salted chips. My sons pizza was the right price point ($10 for the kids serve) and was average.
The beer, which was the draw card for us as my husband is very into craft beers was also a disappointment. Many of the beers were not available from the menu and he was given a wrong beer on his tasting paddle.
The venue has so much potential but was let down by these key issues. Given the excellence of other breweries locally there’s a lot of room for improvement
Food was ok. But I'm really upset about the 15% surcharge. I have never had a restaurant charge that much.
And NOWHERE did they say there would be a surcharge for today. Not on the menus, the cash register or the specials board.
A bill over $90 for 2 meals and a few drinks. What a joke? !
Never again.
Big selection of beers, most of them very nice. Food was good too. Inside could do with a bit of a redesign, it has more of a cheap cafe feel than a brewery.
The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was delicious. Great range of beers too.
Great food and service. They not only serve you great food but also guide you on what you could have.
Friendly staff, a great selection of draught beers and good food. Pretty happy to recommend this place to anyone.
The staff there were very helpful in making us very comfortable and the meals were beautiful it's a very relaxing place
What a find! Half way on our cycle from Bairnsdale to Lakes Entrance, we discovered this excellent brewery. Great beers, including tasting paddies and eclectic food including some very tasty Asian dishes. Wonderful service too. Highly recommended!
Really nice lil brewery @bullantbrewery in Victoria, the guys were heaps friendly and the beers were unique and delish! We got a beer paddle so we could try out a couple flavours, don't quite remember what they were hahaha but it was so nice to be able to choose our own!
check out my food insta @erinxeats for more!
Were in Bruthen near midday so went into the Bullant Brewery for some lunch and beverage and had a very nice pizza and beer. Great service from all the staff, cool from the summer heat and nice beer.a great experience will go back again.with a designated driver of course so I may increase my experience and try the many varieties of beer!
Beautiful views over the valley, great service and delicious beers on tap. Only downside is proximity to the highway, which is no doubt great marketing but detracts from the otherwise lovely ambience
Nice beer, not much atmosphere and the staff was quite stressed with a tendency to rude). Worth stopping though.
Good place to end your visit in this very pretty historic township, located on the Great Alpine Road. The microbrewery offers a broad selection of preservative-free ales, pilsner & stouts. Their 'Bites' menu can accommodate almost any appetite - gluten-free & vegan dishes available. We chose the oven roasted Barramundi & their signature beef burger - along with its recommended stout.
Outdoor & indoor seating is available. The staff were quite knowledgeable about different types of brews on offer. The store had a selection of take home six pack, as well as some locally sourced produce (eg.honey).
We drove from Paynesville to visit the brewery but it was really not worth the effort. We bought a few beers.
Drove from lakes entrance for lunch to find a sign saying closed for maintenance. Might be a good idea to update your website when not open
Awesome service, great beer (try the stouts!) And the ribs were huge. I couldn't recommend more
