Highly recommend when you are needing to build/renovate and simply don’t have the time or ability to project manage yourself. I had been sitting on a to-do-list to get started on the renovation for over a year before I came across Emily. She not only got the project off the ground but was able to take care of every aspect along the way. From dealing with council, to recommendations on drawing/plan updates, which builder to engage, and to design aspects. Every question and conversation was met with enthusiasm and a can-do problem solving attitude. This made the entire renovation process much easier and less stressful. Emily went above and beyond to make our tired old house into a beautiful home again.

Emily is just amazing. Although Build Fresh weren't in a position to assist with our specific request, Emily provided a range of important things to follow up on and look into, clearly knows what's what, and genuinely wants clients to get the best outcome.

The team at Build Fresh were excellent. For non builders with busy jobs and lives they were exactly what we needed to get the job done. Emily did it all, from architects to builders, plans and permits. She also did a fantastic job on bathrooms and the kitchen with a great eye for style and detail. We received regular updates on the build and very prompt action on any issues that arose. Overall it was a really nice experience and I would recommend Build Fresh to anyone with a building project.

We used Emily and the Build Fresh team as project managers for a knockdown rebuild of our old weatherboard house in Oakleigh and could not be happier with our modern Hamptons style dream home. Emily was amazing from the start to finish. We could not have done this project without her. We had never renovated or built before and are so grateful for Emily's extensive knowledge and advice. We obtained planning approval after a lot of back and forth over a 2 year period, we thought that was going to be the big hurdle on the project. But then it was time to engage a builder. We found one, a mid size builder. They seemed fine, but once we engaged them, they were terribly slow and inefficient. Almost every time a change to the drawings was required, they used the wrong plans. The whole process dragged on and on. We were spending money with nothing to show for it. With so many issues before we started even breaking ground, we felt we couldn't risk proceeding with them and stopped. I left the matter for over a year because I no longer had the time or energy to deal with all the issues. After that, I decided to look into hiring a project manager, yes, it's an additional cost, but it would get us out of the ground and building. I found Build Fresh online and met with them. Emily was fabulous, easy to talk to and very reasonable. We engaged Build Fresh and they jumped on the project straight away. They got the project moving again and found a great builder at a reasonable price very quickly. They provide genuinely good advice, even if it isn't what you want to hear, they tell you (& the builder) what they think is right based on their extensive building experience. They proactively make suggestions and are open to work shopping suggestions. I know many people are reluctant to spend money on a project manager, but I'm now a convert. They save you so much time and money, it really isn't an additional cost when you factor that in. I would absolutely use them again and have no hesitation in recommending them.

Apart from blowing the budget, time spent on the project would be so disruptive to my young family and career.
