Build A Bear Workshop

Went bright and early this morning to pick up the Mudkip Build a Bear that was released today. A big thank you to the staff member who helped me stuff him, they were very nice and professional! Unfortunately the card payment option was not working today for some reason and I had limited cash on me, but I’ll probably be coming back for the cute raincoat clothing set for my boy at a later date:)

Had a great time! Chloe was wonderful she even did the heart ceremony for my frog, as an adult it made the whole experience a bit more special.

Great service from Zoe, the extra excitement to make the building a bear for my children a special memory. Large selection of bears to make. With plenty of options for clothing and accessories.

I was greeted and asked if I needed help within a few minutes of browsing even though the store was super busy. Zoe was lovely and helped me find what i needed super quickly.

The store building could use a little love as it’s not as vibrant and fresh as other stores.

We’re going to have one very happy birthday child!

The girl who was working tonight (2/9/23) was absolutely amazing! She was working alone, and was handling it incredibly well! Our experience was awesome, and I commend her greatly for her hard work and dedication, despite being so busy. Amazing, amazing job!:)

Straight up, will say the young adults that work there were great. Very helpful, did everything right. Positives end there.
It is understaffed, grotty, no specialness to it, broken computers, stacks of boxes piled up, unable to get to all displays. I won't ever go back to this shop. Felt like a rubbish warehouse where you think that maybe it is a temporary home.
Whoever owns it needs to take more pride.
Want to say one more time, the young adults were doing the best they could. This is a more management issue.

Chloe served me today at build a bear to get a vulpix and she was fantastic, kind and very helpful. She gave quality customer service and I will definitely return!

Honestly the most disorganised build a bear I've been to? It was a little bit odd - limited stock and boxes everywhere. It might have been an off day though!

Zoey was so great! Such a fun time for the kids, so many cute teddy bears and costumes to choose from!

Sad that they did not have the hearts to put inside the bear or birth certificates. Did not take it out on the staff though, they were lovely. But do seem overworked as they were not able to help each customer. Hopefully the next time I go they are fully staffed and stocked.

We were served by Fiona and I’m not lying when I say she was the most friendly sales assistant we have ever come across. We walked into the store at 8: 50pm with a massive request (not knowing the store was closing at 9 instead of 10 like the other stores). I was wanting to record my late grandfathers voice in a bear to give to my Nan for Christmas, and Fiona went above and beyond to make this possible, staying beyond closing time. She was such a beautiful human and I couldn’t recommend her and this store more highly! Thank you?

My friend and I were served by Pearl at your Highpoint store and she was AMAZING! We were both so impressed with her and the store.

The store is a good size and the layout is good, there is a large variety of soft toys to choose from and plenty of cute outfits and accessories.

My friend had shopped at several of your stores before, but I had not, it was my first time making a bear and I was a bit nervous.

Pearl provided wonderful customer service- friendly, professional and very efficient. It was crazy busy being a Sunday but she was patient with us and made sure we were happy with our purchases and answered all our questions.

Great employees are tough to come by- Pearl is definitely one of them.

Honestly a little disappointed by my experience at this location, I remember years ago when I built my first build a bear, it was such a magical experience and being older I wanted my little sisters to have that experience of creating a little bear friend that will hold a special place in their heart!

The lady who served us was brilliant, she definitely had the spirit but we weren’t offered any sounds or scents, I thought they didn’t do them anymore but turns out they were in a corner.

Cute bear options but not many, their stock is limited, I don’t know if it’s because they are a new store but it’s also very dull! I remember the other locations having a grooming station also, this one doesn’t! Plus they had run out of boxes which is the “home” of the bear and I really was disappointed my sisters didn’t get to experience the build a bear I had when I was younger.

We were lucky enough to be served by Melissa at the Highpoint Store who moved heaven and earth to get us the perfect present for a family member.

Build-A-Bear is beyond lucky to have a worker go so far and beyond with amazing service as showcased by Melissa.

Melissa, if you're reading this, thank you. You helped us so greatly with your amazing jokes, quality advice, & overall star performance.

One of the worst build a bear places. Went with my little sisters to give them the magic that build a bear used to hold and it was terrible. The customers service was terrible. The staff there did not care to greet nor help with anything, they'd rather talk to themselves about their personal life instead of helping and interacting with the kids. It had felt like that we were a nuisance in this store. The Magic from this store is gone and I will be never be coming here again. Do not waste your money here!

I came into store today after ordering over the phone (That was such a smooth process!) and the worker, Zoe was so helpful and amazing through the whole thing! Super friendly and very patient and kind. It was a perfect visit

The new location in highpoint is utterly disappointing. Once a childhood memory and place of fun now a place where the workers couldn’t care less. Flickering lights, barely any bears or outfits. None of the fun stuff where you shower them and brush them. It’s awful. I used to love going to build a bear as a child. This was heartbreaking to see.

Loved it. The young lady helping us was an absolute joy, there was no wait time and the price was reasonable. We had 1 very happy grandson!
