Buffalo Boulders

I love climbing, but was never a big fan of bouldering as most gyms I've been to was just a bunch of holds without any order.

This place is different.

Extremely well thought through routes (problems) which are also well graded. Plenty of options for climbers of all levels.

Nice atmosphere and great staff.

As a "hard to please person", I must admit that I got impressed. Highly recommend.

Friendly staff who was very personal and hung out with us when invited. Very chill.
Great interesting sets that had something for everyone except huge double hand dynos.

Interesting levels of climbs except large overhangs, only one but a decent lip.
The route setting is quite realistic and utilises the space really well.
Everyone should check it out at least once.

This is the leisure activity that Alpine Shire was missing! Buffalo Boulders have a fantastic setup - fun and challenging climbs for both adults and kids that rival any in Melbourne, super friendly and knowledgable owner (who also makes 10/10 coffee!) and the added bonus of Denver the resident canine who is always up for a pat. Buffalo Boulders exceeded our expectations! The location is very convenient and easy to find. The owner was friendly and clearly passionate for what he does, which is evident in the gym's care and attention. A nice surprise was the availability of excellent coffee from Coffee Chakra - it was so relaxing to have a good cup of coffee after climbing. To top it off, Denver, the adorable border collie, added an extra touch of charm. Whether you're a beginner or experienced climber, this gym is worth checking out!

What a fabulous facility! We were looking for something to do indoors and there really isn't much around. Then we stumbled upon this climbing gym! Everyone had a great afternoon; the coffee was superb and Denver, the Border collie, was a very friendly pooch!
Check it out if you get a chance, you wont be disappointed!

There were some amazing and challenging climbs here, we had a lot of fun! Bonus there was a puppy!

Grate atmosphere. Challenging climbing for all levels. Good coffee. Josh the owner is a lovely bloke too. Well well worth a visit.
