I booked them for a wedding

They changed the entire itinerary and all the pick up time and didn't notify anyone. I found out about the changes 4 days later after several unpleasant phone calls.
The driver called me on the day and was argumentative about the times agreed upon in the email and indicated that I was making up the times.

No formal or informal information was shared from the company to indicate they had changed the times.

Their head office has confirmed with me on the phone they will not check off the itinerary/guest lists at each stop and they do not expect their driver to check if they have picked up the correct number of passengers or do a head count at the last stop.

As a result of this change in timing and lack of responsibility they missed an international guest at my wedding, who then missed the ceremony.

When the bus was to take the guests home after the wedding, I got a call from the bus driver asking "is everyone on the bus".

The bus driver had a list of the names (we are talking only 20ish people)

He refused to check off on the number of people on the bus or check off their names and hung up mid conversation.

The company followed up days after the wedding asking if everyone had gone well

Upon finding our they had run the bus at a time not agreed upon, began to tell me how this was their fault.

They did not offer any partial refund or compensation

They then blamed me after a few minutes of talking in circles citing it should be widely known that the point of contact number required must also be on the bus. (At no point was this mentioned by email prior to the booking or on the day when they called me)
Further to this when I spoke to them on the day, the driver called the point of contact.there were no issues or discussions around not being on the bus and the driver confirmed receipt of the itinerary I sent him again via text message.

He then ran the service 10-15 minutes earlier, confirmed by the owner on the phone using the bus GPS

This service does not take responsibility and may leave you in an extremely poor situation.

Pay the extra amount and go with a reputable service. The extra money is not worth all the phone calls, emails and heart break on an important day

I've used Budget Bus Charters 3 times over the last year for getting a big group of us to a festival and back again, sometimes leaving before sunrise! They've always been super organised & a pleasure to deal with, and their bus drivers have always been lovely and very accommodating. Would not hesitate to recommend!

Excellent service and Hassle Free.
I cannot speak highly enough of the experience we had on Saturday, for my Son's wedding. The whole pick up and drop off to the wedding and then again, the pick up and drop off at the end of the night. Nothing was a problem. James the driver was so patient and fantastic the whole way through. Even putting on music and any requests we had.
Fully recommend this service and definitely will be using it again.

The communication with the admin team was great, they were very quick to reply all my emails and flexible when doing the itinerary. The driver was on time and was very accommodating, when he noticed we were from overseas he looked for playlists on Spotify that we would like so we had a fantastic time. Michael was absolutely fabulous to deal with, right the way through planning my event As numbers changed, he was ale to alter arrangements so I would have a better suited vehicle for my needs. The vehicle itself was clean and luxurious, it really made a statement on the day. Or driver was also fabulous, he put up with out bad taste in music and made sure we arrived everywhere on time and safely.
