Thoroughly disappointed with this school, would not recommend.

Over my 6 years at this school, I have had numerous bad experiences. Management has steadily declined over the years and has only worsened.

The junior years were already a negative experience, however, as it was the junior years it was excusable for me. I was denied multiple times to switch classes despite having mental health issues, and was simply told that it would "build [my] resilience". This occurred even after multiple chats involving my family.

As I entered VCE, I attempted to complete two accelerated subjects, however, was told that I would be unable to do two as I was in the "mainstream" class and not SEAL. I understood and respected this decision until I found out that numerous other "mainstream" students were allowed to do so, despite them telling me that I would be unable to do so. With this, I arranged multiple meetings with the principal, VCE coordinator and year level coordinator and all of them denied me each time. This led to my parents calling, expressing their concerns with the situation, however, nothing changed. One of the coordinators was also very rude to them, asking for examples of who was able to complete two accelerated subjects, and upon giving examples, we were told that it was disrespectful to name people. Upon confronting the principal about students who were doing what I was told could not be done, he claimed he did not know about it.

After this debacle, in my final year of VCE, I instead asked to do four subjects instead of five (as I had completed an accelerated subject in year 11), but was told that I also could not do this. Again, another student was able to do what I was told would not be allowed. Because of this, I rang the DET and was advised to try again and if I was denied, they would raise a case for me. Luckily, after a few more attempts asking to do four subjects, the VCE coordinator agreed, albeit reluctantly. He gave attitude towards my wish and was visibly upset. I did not, and do not, appreciate being treated with discrimination and disrespect for simply asking for what I think is best for my education.

Alongside these issues, there were many teacher supply issues, particularly in the senior years. Many teachers quit throughout the year (especially in year 12) which disrupted our learning heavily. I am unsure as to why there were so many staff leaving, however, it certainly made the learning conditions much worse.

Suijai chilakuri a student in ur school is absoutely wonderful he helped me when i broke my leg on the stairs he is a strong handsome boy. While on the other hand West Carrick laughed at me because i had a dissabilty and i have down syndrome.

Overall good experience but i still prefer the boat house's steak over the steaks here. The waiters are really friendly and the students provide excellent entertainment. The tables were a bit wobbly but offered entreè's of gum. Could be better but still a well done for a government owned resturant

Great school but the canteen is too expensive for what it is and everytime i order the pizza it is extra burnt

I went to this school for 3 years after transferring from OACC, and dropped out in year 11 to join the commando special forces, after completing my training I left and became a design architect at dasch associates, and I’m currently in a position where I will be taking over the company in the next 15 years, this school won’t change your kid into the perfect student, some teachers are inspiring whilst others have god complexes n the students are aware of who those teachers are, Those teachers who inspire students find unique and creative ways to educate students that I haven’t seen in any other public school, and it gives the students a good base for entering the working world outside of school,

School has a lot of food options, but it’s pretty pricey. Students are decent. The way it’s built and looks is quite old and outdated, but the teachers can actually teach you pretty good. Overall, not bad.

Overall good experience, although the man serving me was balding and I had hair in some of my chips. The tartar sauce was extra salty which I thoroughly enjoyed. Would highly recommend the fish, with great prices all being cheaper than $6 with good size servings.overall good value for money however once again cooks did not seem very clean.

Buckley Parks canteen's prices are worser than Russia's Inflation during the Ukraine war

This is an amazing school, they deal with bullying and have great programs and overall just an amazing place to be but i will say that you will have a few unnerving teachers.

This school is amazing I would totally recommend for you to send your kids here. I am in year seven and the experience has been like no other, the teachers are extremely involved in your learning and care more about your health than your work. Everything is great here, from the canteen to class time, you will meet so many good people there. When you first settle in it can be nerve racking- I have firsthand experience. Sure you'll come across teachers that you won't like but that's in every high school. So I would totally recommend for you to send your kid here.

I started and basically this place is real trash to be honest, I have received a detention just for having not a lock on my locker and that is stupid because most people don’t put a lock.
Clothes are so easy to get stains on when you eat food and as well ugly, locker area’s tend to be crowded so basically it is hard to get things early.
Most teachers are weird, if you make a Instagram account and use it to make memes about people there “YOU KNOW WHAT THEY DO? ! ” They decide to be stalking students on social media.
Fights happen for no reason, basically I call it ISIS park collage (IPC).
So rent a cheap house close to another school and make sure the parent who pays the bills stays then stay there for a whole term then move back.

I heard rumours about the school that a child from a different country has been forced to study here
