Brunswick Tool Library reviews
5I LOVE this place. The people are so friendly, they have so many different types of tools—see them all on the website or drop by to see what’s in stock. They are a great part of community, they do so much more than just the tool library. The hardest thing is finding them for the first time (Coles basement, drive down ramp, far right corner or walk down travelators) but they have videos on Instagram showing exactly how to find them.
Love this place! Friendly volunteers sharing expert knowledge, super affordable annual membership giving you access to literally hundreds of tools. Sure, I ended up using AirTasker as my DIY project ended up being too big, but love this community initiative!
Great little community resource for tools of all kinds. Hopefully more of these centres are being planned for city dwellers!
Love these platforms - great service. Highly recommended. Worth every cent.
I signed up with this tool library for a large build project.
The tools have been well maintained, and if a booking was booked to come in on the same day they'd keep you up to date on weather it had arrived back or if an alternative was available so you didn't have to keep calling, or turn up to find you'd come a ways for the tool to be not ready yet.
In the case that something was delayed etc, they've been quick to swap over products for others available that suit your needs.
Staff service have been excellent.
Return your tools in good nick, and cleaned up as the staff are volunteers and are often sending stuff out as quick as it comes in, which will also make it a better experience for the people ahead of you.
To get to the Tool Library, head to the underground carpark (parking is currently free for 45minute~2 hours (?) As of righting this) and their are signs to direct you to the Tool Librarys corner so you wont have to lug large items upstairs and outside.
They also deliver but i have not tested this out so cannot review.
