Brunswick Bowling Club reviews
31Great venue but the manager delivers a disgraceful customer experience. He is rude to his customers and to his young staff. Think his name is Jimmy. Wouldn’t usually name an individual but this guy is really bad!
There's a band room you can book in the front. Its rustic but beautiful. What a time.
Brunswick Bowling Club is delightful rain, hail or shine! Cheap drinks, chill vibes and above and beyond service. Inside the club house there is free pool, darts and table tennis so you don't have to stop by just for bowls. We will be back again and again.
Always a pleasure visiting a great establishment. Awesome members, great staff and very welcoming. Cheers
Fantastic customer service, great range of beers and wines available for purchase and very cool air conditioning in the main entry. Looks to be newly renovated with lots of great seating for big groups. We visited for a friends 30th and had a great time - highly recommend!
Bowling in this place is outside, so when the weather is hot, windy or rainy, you cannot have a fun.
Super friendly staff, casual atmosphere. Great afternoon out for families with kids aged 12 - 15.
A great place for a relaxing get together with friends. Family friendly atmosphere and perfect for private events. The super helpful staff are friendly and welcoming as are the local members too. The food is tasty and the warm chicken salad is to die for! The lovely manger and her team were most accommodating and everyone had a totally enjoyable experience. We’ll be back again!
Might be a great place to meet up with friends and have a meal. In customer service feedback it get 1 star only. I have emailed and called at 3 or 4 times leaving message with staff and on machine to book. No call backs and feedback on Covid-19 concerns re friend circumstance if they will accept entry.with no response gone elsewhere to book lawn bowls better service. It's a shame if only I got a call back from Management I would have booked a group booking.
Regular events galore here (pre-pandemic), fun for all ages. Get a few tinnies into you and try to play some sick lawn bowls.
Great place and very friendly staff! The food is very good! Worth giving it a go. The Chief is an Italian bloke and knows how to cook! Some meals are of restaurant's standards.
Came for my Birthday and had an amazing experience!
The lawn, balls and staff where excellent!
A special mention to the quality of the drinks on offer with a full fridge to choose from.
Will come back again!
Nothing not to like about the Brunswick Bowling Club. And, get the tshirt. The design is awesome)
Loved it, but they should offer eskies to save people from constantly going back and forth to the bar.
Great local establishment. The fathering is the locals from near and far was a treat and the ability to have a party with bbq and plenty of space to accommodate
Implied that their drinks are so cheap we shouldn’t have complained about being overcharged lol
Great relaxed atmosphere, friendly for beginners, our group of 6 really enjoyed ourselves. Will be coming back.
Since I started bowling I've been lucky enough because I play every Saturday that I visit a lot of clubs during the 21 rounds. And add to that the years of playing and that grows even more. But you will never play at every club mainly because it depends which club you play and the location of the club the section you are in etc. If you end up playing for years through friendships you visit other clubs and you get to appreciate the game even more. And last Friday I happen to go with a friend to a club that I never before been there, and that was the Brunswick Bowls Club. Driving down this narrow Rd suddenly appears this seren and beautiful club that looks out if place but so part of the suburb. And it was a beautiful day sun was out and warm enough to warrant a beer and a roll. Whilst my friend was catching up with who came to see I took the opportunity to enjoy a couple of hrs of having a roll. The one thing I found with being a lawn bowler is that it's the most social game you can play and there is some characters that would have been a shame not to have met them. After having finished bowling and joining my friend I got to meet a few of the members there and one who by the time I walked in with my bowls bag I went to where my friend was, he walked inside and came out holding a mat and 2 kittys. That has never happened considering that person was the couch. That's the attitude of the club always happy to help you have a good time. And whilst in the bar I was talking with one of the members and told him they have a very good club and I think his choice of words were boutique club. You can call it whatever you like but like most clubs they did it hard for a period of time and now they are enjoying the hard work they put to turn things around. And I wish them best. And to anyone who has or hasn't been there you will have a great time and you will get to meet some very interesting people. And happy birthday to 100 yrs of being part of the Brunswick community. To the people of Brunswick make sure that the club is around for another 100 yrs. Support your local bowls club
Had a great time, nice BBQs, great lounge area, nice facilities and great value for money. $6 beers at the bar including Coronas. Would go back again and would recommend for social gatherings and work functions.
Great venue. Fun time. Only marred by the poor customer service from the Lass behind the bar, who not only didn't informed me, that they had several brands of cider but when I questioned the inferior brand I was served made the smart alec comment. "Well you have learnt your lesson then". This appears to be the standard of customer service in venues nowadays.
