Many restaurants on the Bellarine are recommended on the basis of their vista. Jack Rabbit, Curlewis Golf Club, Leura Park. Here you have Brunenzo's in a carpark on the Bellarine Highway. Hardly a tourist destination. But once inside the staff, meals and friendly family atmosphere knocks the other aforementioned venues off the table. Fabulous, generous and interesting Italian menu complimented by fresh salads.

I was looking forward to trying this restaurant it looks beautiful inside but if they are selling dishes with seafood that is not fresh and it actually smells well I won't eat here. Seafood poisoning can kill people particularly older people.
It seems this restaurant has changed owners and the food is now below standard.
If I got dodgy seafood I would report this to the Health Department
I was looking forward to going here but not now.

Up until my most recent visit, which was on 14th July, Brunenzos were really good. This time, I was left disappointed. Although the service and the atmosphere were great, I can’t say the same about the food. We ordered a herb pizza as a starter to share. That was beautiful, but my main meal was not. I ordered a spaghetti marinara and the mussels in the dish were anything but fresh. The minute the dish came to the table, the smell hit me straight away. The rest of the seafood in the dish was fresh and it was fine, but the mussels weren’t. Fresh mussels and any fresh seafood should not smell at all. I removed the mussels from the plate immediately and didn’t eat them. My dad had a curry, also with mussels in it and he ate his food, but finished up with an upset stomach overnight. My sister ordered a seafood risotto and she too, removed the mussels from her plate and didn’t eat them. We should have returned our meals to the kitchen. I’m sure there would have been some patrons who had upset stomachs the next day. After this experience, I won’t be returning to Brunenzo’s. My family know the man who established the business years ago before retiring and if he’d heard about this, he’d be appalled.

They are the most accommodating restaurant ever. We called them just before 9pm, after going to the Adventure Park and being rejected by 2 restaurants already, they said they can accommodate a group of 10 people and 5 kids:)

Their food is the best from the pizzas to the pastas and the churros and their prices are reasonable. We spent just $30 per person with the amount of food we ordered!

The owner and the staff were friendly. They didn’t make us feel in a rush to finish our food considering we got there late.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Brunenzo, in Geelong.

It's a hard decide what stood out the most; the pizza, the pasta or the service. The pizzas—generous toppings bursting with flavour and crispy crust. The variety of pizza options on the menu is impressive, catering to all tastes and dietary preferences.

Moving on to the pasta, Brunenzo does not disappoint. Whether you prefer classic favorites like spaghetti carbonara or more adventurous choices, the quality and taste are unmatched. The sauces are rich and luscious, complementing the al dente pasta perfectly.

Service, the owner's passion and dedication to his craft. Greeted with smile, even though we arrived late.

Throughout my dining experience, the owner went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of the meal was exceptional. He personally came to our table to inquire about our satisfaction, and even sang happy birthday to our grandson. His personal touch made the dining experience even more memorable, and I left feeling like I had made a friend.

The service at Brunenzo is impeccable. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to accommodate any special requests. They create a warm and friendly atmosphere, making the dining experience truly enjoyable.

In conclusion, Brunenzo deserves every bit of praise it receives. The food is outstanding, the atmosphere is cozy, and the owner's passion is palpable. Whether you're a pizza lover, a pasta aficionado, or simply looking for a delightful dining experience, Brunenzo should be at the top of your list in Geelong. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. Make a reservation and treat yourself—you won't be disappointed

Yummy gluten free pizza. Lots of topping and great flavour. Chips big serving. Great friendly service. A winner best pizza.

Owner is very accommodating. We called to dine in 5mins before closing and they still took our reservations in. Great food and ambience. Even assisted us with the bday cake we brought in! Will definitely recommend this to friends visiting Geelong!

Great authentic Italian food and lots of it. There small portions would be any other restaurants large meal.

2022: There’s no facility to book online, just to order takeout, that’s a pity, we’ll have to eat elsewhere.

2018: Lovely family atmosphere, we were made to feel welcome from the minute we arrived and the pizzas were sensational, real prawns and lots of them, this would be our goto pizza place if we didn't live in Brisbane. Thanks

For under $70 a family of 4 are plenty and took half a pizza home. Great value for really good pizzas

After recommendation from my friend, me and my wife planned to dine in at Brunenzo’s. The lovely staff was so welcoming and the atmosphere was super amazing. The top quality service was ended by complimentary shots. Food was so delicious that the team gonna see us again soon. Highly recommended well done

Was my favourite pizza in Geelong and got it weekly it used to be thin, tasty, traditional and crispy
Unsure why in the last month or two it has become thick and doughy have tried it 3 times now so it wasn’t just a bad night
It’s now just like every other pizza chain in the area too loaded and undercooked base strayed away from traditional pizza
Unfortunately lost our business which is a shame because we loved this pizza place

Zero Stars. Avoid this place. Two hairs located in one pizza. So much oil. And, keeps asking to be paid in cash, which sounds dodgy and annoying!

The best place for the food.l and great hospitality service. The best pasta and pizza I ever tried there. The guy Sachin there absolutely amazing bloke and great hospitality always and always welcome you with great smile on his face. I will reccomend 200% this place for for great food and their service.you wont get get wrong. Thank u guys for your service and hospitality me, my wife and my uncle had good time at your restuarant.

Order did not come as requested. Pizza was requested to have no sauce due to diet but came with sauce. Margaretta pizza burnt. Not using again

The most wonderful Italian restaurant I've ever eaten at. Great food, awesome variety, reasonable prices and fabulous atmosphere. They certainly go the extra mile to make your experience a special one.
