9Sadly the quality of the food and also the service have gone downhill since the change of owners. I don’t feel things are as fresh as they used to be and there is a feeling of cost cutting above quality and service.
Such lovely friendly staff and a lovely store. Always stop by to get my weekly supply and Brumby's Strathmore never disappoint.
Over all a really good bakery. However, after a bug was found in my Pie - I question the back of house standards
Don’t waste your time going to this store. They can’t even put the right opening hours on their home page.

I had to give the rest of the loaf of bread (Sourdough Rye) to the birds. It was so sweet that I could taste sugar on my lips after eating it as well. If I wanted a Brioche I would have bought one! Bread at this bakery is below average and extremely expensive $7.20 for a small loaf of Sourdough. The sweets are average as well and so old fashioned, not much choice at all of products. I am very disappointed as I purchased different types of bread and sweets and spent a lot of money there. I will not be going back.
Not bad. They need to get with the 21st century and accept pay pass for a loaf of bread. Make the most of opportunistic sales when customers drop in for a loaf! I only had my phone (Apple Pay). I don’t want to be sold up to buy more stuff! Let’s get on with it.
Delicious bakery products and excellent customer service! We tried the iced sprinkle doughnuts and block loaves of bread, and everything was very high quality. Fresh and delicious! Highly recommended!
