Leon is very generous with both his time and in depth knowledge of worm farming and composting. This is by far the best place to start for all your needs and info. See the worms working and pick up quality starter buckets or castings and liquid fertiliser ready for the garden. Thanks for your help Leon!

I mentioned to Leon that I hadn't had a worm farm before and he took the time to explain to me how and what I needed to do to. I had asked to buy 2000 worms but he suggested only 1000 which showed to me he cared more about the process then wanting to sell more. I chose to purchase some castings as well which was great to get it all in one spot and now I can pick it up at anytime in the future using the honesty box.

Will post worms in air tight plastic bag, so the worms are either dying or dead.
Won't get refund either.

Great prices and super friendly and generous with free plants, great advice and tips for keeping the worms and plants happy and healthy. Well worth the drive down, highly recommended.

Leon Brown was very pleasant and friendly until there was a problem.

I bought $600 worth of worms and when it arrived in end of June, the worms were all dead from them being in air tight bags.

I thought it was a common sense to put living things in breathable bags, but Leon said he puts them in air tight bags all the time, so it’s not his fault.

Leon offered me $250 refund saying that he can’t give me full refund cus we “both” lost on this transaction. He also offered me another option, which was rrp$300 worth of other worm species eggs which I never asked for and didn’t need.

It’s a shame as I wanted to get $600 worth of worms every 2-3 months, but Leon burnt that bridge now.

One mistake I made was to pay Leon in cash, thinking it will save him some money on Paypal transaction fee.

At the end, Leon didn’t refund me $250 either.

It’s sad this kind of ABN registered shop still exists and gets away with it, but oh well, from what I’ve seen and heard over the years what comes around always goes around.

All in all, a dishonest and an inexperienced seller.

There are some good honest worm sellers out there.
Hopefully this review will help others find a good and honest worm supplier.
