Brown Gouge DRY Cleaners

I used this company for dry cleaning services which were substandard to a suit that was purchased from a high end store. On receiving my suit back it was not up to standard. My belt buckle was damaged and my suit had deteriorated considerably. The inner pocket had a hole in it. I returned to go through this and items were amended at my expense. My suit came back to me in considerable disrepair. The gentleman laughed at me when I told him he was the second person to dry clean the suit and it was relatively new. I mentioned that it was substandard and he laughed and said the suit looks 3 years old at least.

Staff were very friendly and delivered my dry cleaning on time as promised. I have used them several times now and have always been happy with the service.

I would steer clear. Completely destroyed my jacket and didn't have the decency to address the issue. Just packed it up and handed it over. Terrible place and very unprofessional. I would highly recommend you avoid this place with and look elsewhere

Terrible place. First (and last) time I used these guys they returned my winter coat with the belt missing. My partner had collected the coat for me so didn't realise it was missing at first. I went back to retrieve the belt and they first claimed they never saw it, then said they did see it and I was mistaken and that I must have either dropped it on the way home or that it was still on the jacket (nope). The coat does not do up without the belt so they've pretty much ruined one of my favourite items and it was not cheap to buy. They never offered an apology or refund even though I repeatedly pressed them for information on their policy for when things go wrong. Oh, and the food stains on the jacket were still there so I wonder if it even went through the wash? Not difficult stains to remove. I'd give less than 1 star if I could. Seriously unimpressed.

Short and sweet review. I left a jersey there on Christmas, its mid march and theyve still held onto it! I smile, they smile, they make my shirts look professional when I dont have the time. I always see them working when not serving. What else do you expect from a decent dry cleaner? A fair price for their offering, and its not much.

Have been going here for our dry-cleaning for over 5 years - reliable and affordable for shirts (laundry + press).

Pretty much destroyed my suede jacket, which was black but is now a weird grey blue colour.
Avoid like the plague.

Often not open at times you would expect a day time business to be open eg 11: 00am or 2: 00pm.
Also a $15 minimum eftpos fee which is just tight fisted and shows they do not care about customer convenience only their profits. Come on business eftpos/card charges are not that expensive!

They failed to get the massage oil stain out of my linen; I re-washed myself and got them completely clean. Waste of $70.

Very pathetic! First, they lost my $120 shirt, they tried to get away with it, but after 30 mins of arguing, they agreed to give back 70 or 80 bucks given it’s not a new shirt they said. (i have only worn this shirt once since i bought it).

Now, they let me down again. I got them to do the laundry and press on my White Zara shirt that I used for work. It was last saturday, i picked up the shirt from them, when i got home I noticed a wide blue pen stain on the bottom part of the shirt that clearly wasnt there. I brought back to them on the same day but the owner wasnt there, they said they would ring me back on Monday to let me know how they are going to treat this matter. Now its Thurs, i have never had any call from them since i gave back shirt so i thought all was good but when i came in to pick up my shirt today (4 days after i brought back my shirt to them) they told me that they could clean the shirt but we had to pay $6. What the? I dont care about $6 bit but, is this the way they run the business? I hv been using them for awhile now.

Gotta think twice before i bring my clothes to them again.

This is a good consistent place for your day to day dry clean or press. I just usually use the pressing service as I wash my shirts at home. Takes a couple of days usually.
I don't know how they'll go if you give them a wedding dress and ask them to dry clean it in 3 hours. But again, who's line is it anyway!

I've been using their services for 2 years now, mainly to wash and press my shirts every week. They have not let me down, no problems whatsoever.

Whatever you do avoid at all costs. We had a wedding and my Fiance realised on the day that she had a small stain on her dress. We live just around the corner so rang ahead to see if they could turn it around for us in a day. They agreed to do it but only for Double the normal price so $41 for one dress. Given we had no other options we went ahead and we're promised it would be ready at 3.3 came we went down to pick it up and nonody is there. Rang bell for 15 minutes running late for our wedding. Eventually a non fussed girl comes back doesn't apologize. Gets worse from here.forst she says she doesn't have the dress, then its getting delivered in a truck and should be here in 10 minutes. 40 minutes after I first arrived she magically finds the dress from the back. Already late for our wedding.when I get home and pull out the dress the stain is still there and there is a wet sponge mark on top. Seriously please don't go near this place.
