Brown Cow Cafe reviews
35 We purchased some takeaway coffee beans from Brown Cow cafe on Saturday the price on beans was $35 when we went to tap and go it was $38.81 we asked why the difference the girl behind the counter said weekend surcharge
Applies on everything we sell today
Try to support local business and they want to do this you
Disgusting sacking of young worker because they were sick:

I ordered a caramel cappuccino, they didn't put a shot of caramel in it and it tasted like milk.
The ambience is great, the staff, service and food are excellent but a little more detailed attention to the cleaning of tables and the upholstered seats would be good.
The staff are ruining what could be a great cafe!
Family of 9 went for lunch on a Saturday. There were many empty tables and not overly busy. Staff gave half our table menus, were extremely slow bringing our drinks. We had to ask where our drinks were, as our food came quicker than our drinks.
Staff didn’t clear our finished plates, and didn’t come back to the table once we got our food.
There was no senior experienced management on, and all the young workers were standing around talking, laughing, and using their phones, rather than focusing on the customer experience.
Food was average, nothing worth coming back for.
Service was extremely poor.
Wouldn’t ever go back and would not recommend
Today once again after asking for extra extra hot (to be sure to be sure) coffee we got Luke warm AGAIN! Food was nice but after sending back both our coffees at different times as the service was very slow the grumpy waitress just raised her shoulder- not good enough. We definitely won’t go back and will also tell our family & friends - usually very good service - definitely not today!
A smile & an apology would have made all the difference
When we arrived it was quite busy, I asked for a table and they pointed to a table that was full of dirty dishes and then I needed to wait at least 5 minutes for someone to come and clear the table however they didn’t wipe it down.
We weren’t provided with menus and I needed to request these twice.
Upon ordering my drink and meal came out and was missing items. My entire order arrived and after 10 minutes I needed to enquire where the rest of tables order was it then took a further 5 minutes for the food to come out but no drinks when we asked about these they said oh they are being made now and then brought out the wrong drinks which we needed to send back and ask for the correct drinks. By the times this happened my food was cold.
Been coming here since it opened, and it has gotten drastically worse in recent months.
Had maybe 8 groups at tables, and more staff than customers, but still didn’t seem to know how to actually get anything done.
Ordered a coffee and a Parma for me, and a hot choc and chicken strips/chips for my child. My coffee came out just fine, but the hot choc didn’t. 10 minutes later, waiter finally sees that I want them and comes back. Cue 5 minutes of waiter and barista arguing over what happened, only to figure out that he took it to some other table. Another 10 minutes of mucking around, and it finally arrived.
Food service was no better. Parma came out within 10 minutes, and was another half-hour and two prompts to the waiters to confirm that the kitchen hadn’t made them when they did my Parma.
We really loved this place when it first opened, but they have seriously dropped the ball. Staff are slow and inattentive, and just dawdle about behind the bar area. This is actually now the second time that the chicken strips order for my kid has been delivered after I’d finished my own meal.
To top it all off, I raised all this with the staff at the counter when we went to pay, and the response was “oh, ok”.
If you’re happy to lose a couple of hours of your day chasing your order, the food and coffee is fine. But if you’re looking for a relaxing and easy cafe experience, find somewhere else.
The customer service here is top notch. My breakfast was brought out to me and unfortunately my poached eggs had gone a little hard. I spoke with an employee and he offered to replace the whole meal however the rest of the meal was absolutely delicious and i didn’t want to send it back to the kitchen so they decided to waive our drink fee.they brought me out delicious runny poached eggs and again apologised for any inconvenience.
They were absolutely lovely and i felt bad for complaining however they were very accommodating and friendly.
Thanks guys! Keep up the great work, definitely will be sure to be back again
It's a nice Cafe with friendly service. The food was average, not bad but not to an exceptional standard. Disappointed to note that there are minimal sweet options on the breakfast menu.
Just payed $6.50 for a rhubarb pastry cake & took it home and it was stale! Very disappointing.they have great coffee.
Nice cafe
Seems very popular in the area so there are longer then normal wait times
Good coffes
Decent value portion sizes, clean environment, well presented food and matching yummy taste.
Waiter was lovely. Coffee not fantastic, but will come back, sometimes it's a one off.
If you're in search of a cafe that's sure to please, look no further than the Brown Cow Cafe! Their coffee is delicious and their service is top notch. You'll also love their tasty food options, all of which are affordably priced. Plus, the trendy decor makes it all the more enjoyable - you really can't go wrong with this one. A must visit for all coffee and food enthusiasts!
Looks lovely and staff seem nice but food was a complete mess. Ordered cheese and tomatoes toastie, got just cheese. Asked for no pumpkin seeds, add mushroom for the avo breaky, got seeds and no mushroom and lastly the big breakfast was brought out with wrong eggs and then re brought out cold and still with wrong eggs.
Would NOT come back.
Pretty disappointed with the iced long black and almond crossoint. The beans taste burned and the crossoint was over heated and stale. Brown cow used to be so good but now the coffee is so inconsistent.
The only open cafe in a shopping mall was a lucky find on a Sunday morning road trip. Signage could be better. A very nice place for coffee and food.
The coffee was nice, although not up to temperature. The lady taking orders is a bit of a cow. Perhaps that's why the name? The young girl who brought the coffee over was nice, though, the 2 stars would be due to her, otherwise 0.
My partner and I are extremely disappointed with the coffees and toasties. The coffees are basically just warm tasteless milk and the toasties are squished and soggy. Horrible customer service. All the workers had attitude. Definitely WILL NOT be going back EVER!
