I am a regular patient and they were able to accommodate me at short notice by telehealth when I had a time critical need while in Sydney. The GP not my regular one had full access to my records.

As usual, very good support and assistance from my long time general practitioner, Dr. Mandy Atchison. Thank you.

My first visit following the relocation of the doctors from Elsternwick Clinic to the Brighton Medical Centre.
The doctors are housed in the old “house” next to the main clinic. The uneven entrance is covered with a scungy mat held down with fraying duct tape. The waiting room is oppressive with limited room for social distancing. The windows are filthy. On checking in, I was advised that the doctor “would not be long”. This turned out to be a euphemism for “we don’t know how long it will be and don’t really care”. And so it proved to be as I waited for over 20 minutes with no update or apology on the wait. While waiting, and due to the closeness of the waiting room, I overheard doctors and front-office staff discussing patient medical matters, patients giving personal information to front office staff and the forthcoming social plans of various staff members. I excused myself and left. Time to find a new clinic.

Lovey and very helpful reception staff and the doctors are fabulous - they take their time and are not rushed with visits at all.

Prompt, friendly and efficient service provided by team at reception. Same extremely competent and thoughtfully personalised attention provided by Dr Mandy Acheson - as always.

I work full time and it’s very difficult for me to get into the clinic so that I can get scripts.
When I called and asked for my GP (David Fox) to get in touch with me Tracey on the phone was rude and unhelpful, I’m unimpressed that David Fox still hadn’t called me back.
The clinic has raised its consultation fees due to inflation I’m assuming and the service is abominable. Im out of pocket $70+ for a 15 minute consultation! Why won’t you use Medicare and bulk bill your patients instead of stinging them every time they need care? Again $70 for 15 minutes and the treatment is the patient being sent to see another doctor who then prescribes medication that can cause cancer! Very unimpressed with this clinic and the medical profession as a whole. Shame on you all!

I find Brighton Medical a highly professional medical centre: The Doctors are thorough, refer to quality specialists, and really care for positive outcomes. Office staff are attentive, helpful and caring.

Initially we were living in Brighton. Last 12 months I live in Prahran, I still drive 30min to come for appointment with doctor WU.
Dr WU always has time to listen and support us, he is friendly, supportive and understanding.

It is always a pleasure visiting The Brighton Medical Clinic. The doctors are so professional and the clerical staff are so friendly and helpful. Over the last two days I have been unsuccessful in having a specialist in Berwick answer my messages. Mel, and Louise also tried to contact them but were unsuccessful also. Today Robyn tried and found they had moved with the same phone number and after repeated efforts assisted me to gain an appointment. Obviously this had been very frustrating for me. These wonderful clerical assistants listed went above their roles to assist me. Thank you so much, Mel, Louise and Robyn. Dr Mary Hanna is an amazing empathetic knowledgeable doctor, who actually listens to the patient. I would highly recommend her to anybody looking for a doctor for all their medical needs. A true gem.

Awesome medical expertise, the Doctors are extremely competent and probably the best GP clinic in Melbourne if not Australia! Many lecture at medical schools and many are as brilliant as pioneering surgeons however they prefer the lifestyle of being a brilliant GP with work family balance. Lovely administration and reception staff also who have been working there over 20 years, so work stability and good human ethics are evident in every aspect of this practice. They always point you in the right direction and are extremely competent with preventative advice re vitamins etc also to compliment western medicine etc. It costs a bit more than most GP practices, however for the thorough communication and explanation you get much more peace of mind and better healthcare by paying a bit extra so you actually understand what is going on in your journey of good health. I have found over more than 20 years going to this medical practice that they have extremely good ethics and are very good people as well as Doctors. If you are a chatterbox and feel better discussing health in detail to become enlightened, I highly endorse and recommend this as the best GP practice I have been to in Melbourne, Thankyou for caring about people and making us better.

I have been seeing Dr Lydia Nunes for many years and she has always been caring, friendly and professional. She was especially compassionate when I lost my husband nearly 12 years ago. At times if I have seen other doctors at this clinic they have also been caring and knowledgeable. I would have no hesitation in recommending this GP clinic

It was easy to book and since it was my first time I was able to fill out my details through an app. The staff were very friendly to me. The doctor was very sweet and helped me out very fast and gave me tips to better myself.

My daughter has known Dr Lydia Nunes since she was four and she has always been a great GP. Recently we reconnected and she did a small surgery for my daughter. It was such a great experience and it was over and done in literally 5 minutes and my daughter and I are very grateful for all her help and can’t thank her enough for making the experience so good. Dr Katriona Ross has been my GP for quite a few years now, she is very professional and knowledgeable and such a caring person. She has helped me in many ways as I have had to deal with a few medical issues the last few years. Always very thankful she is my GP.
