James provided me with amazing service. He was able to match my existing carpet from a photo alone and provided excellent advice. Even when I made a measuring mistake, he had It addressed and the installers were back only a couple of days later to finish the job. Highly recommend.

I had paid for the installation of a carpet and it was broken up into two sections the first section was fine, the second section the install was delayed when it came time to nstall which I had already paid for the company didn't return my calls and then refused to install! I had to pay for another party to install! I was shocked and disappointed as I have dealt with them for many years!

This was my first experience buying carpet, so I went in a bit green. The owner there gave me a quote that sounded high but what do I know so I went with it. I gave him exact dimensions of the room being carpeted. He went to measure and the added an extra $100 to the price saying something about minimum cost or some rubbish. The total quote for one room (and not very flash carpet) was $1200. I went to the next shop (Simon carpets in Bentleigh) and the same carpet for the same room was quoted at $650. I went with the second quote. You have been warned.

Found dealing with Brighton Carpets to be a very pleasant experience. Toni was very professional when she visited us. We agreed on the Veles Hybrid flooring for our main hallway and lounge area, and subsequently received the quote via email, which was accepted. As the area was currently covered by carpet, so the condition of the slab underneath unknown, we were advised to have some funds for contingency, in case sanding or leveling was required. When the contractors arrived at the agreed time, the slab was found to be level, and the flooring was installed without any issues. Based on my experience, I would certainly use Brighton carpets in the future.

Stunning result! We recently had floor boards and carpet installed. The expertise in selecting the best products for our needs, advice on current trends and the actual end product was second to none. The result was beautiful creating a really luxurious space throughout. We really appreciated the attention to detail particularly around the areas with steps. Would definately recommend. Thankyou for the great work!

John met me at my house at an agreed time. Within a few hours John provided his quote which was very well priced so I decided to go ahead with the works.
John arranged for the new carpet to be installed in accordance with my renovation schedule and the carpet layers arrived exactly at the time and date we had arranged.
I am delighted with the product supplied, the attention to detail of the installation and recommend this business to anyone wanting competitive pricing and a high level of professionalism, quality and service.

Engaged Brighton Carpet Court to lay carpet. Seemed friendly. Good selection. Did the measurements and agreed a price; the sub-contractor later spent only 10 minutes at the site and said the smooth edge needed fixing. $635 later and we agreed for the second time. A few days later, Carpet Court asked for an indemnity if they caused damage to the apartment. Disagreed. Then they said they could fix the it with glue and wouldn't need the indemnity! Agreed again. Another date set... Only to receive an email the day before saying the cost of gluing would be $1500 or I could buy the carpet only AND they required payment UPFRONT. Weeks have passed and genuinely reluctant to engage again. Maybe this was a bad run, but the service and attitude was disappointing.

BEWARE OF HIDDEN COSTS IN YOUR Quote. The carpet was laid on time and expertly but in the quote we were not told that doors need to be taken off. In fact I don't believe they needed to be taken off but it was easier for the carpet layer to get into the wardrobes. We had 13 doors taken of the wardrobes to the cost of $200. We had no choice because the layer insisted. I have had many carpets laid in the past and that has never happened before. The carpet was expensive and it looks good but I am very annoyed about the extra $200 because I don't believe it was necessary. They were not adjusted or shaved off when they were rehung. I complained to John Barrett the salesman and he did nothing about it. ONCE AGAIN - Beware of hidden costs. Lucy Gould.
