6There are so many river in the VIC, but Bright river story is different. Community and council make amazing changes to build infrastructure for family. Swimming, Biking, Walking in pristine nature are popular.
I remember when this was just a swimming hole with no facilities - really impressed with the upgrades and mini water park. Lifeguards on duty at certain times, plenty of shaded spaces, bbq and clean toilets. Well done local council, it's a great space.
Awesome swimming hole. Has a slippery dip, diving board and a water slide. Lifeguards on duty in the summer holidays. Splash park available for the little ones.
It is deep in areas, so always supervise your children. A lot of fun to be had, seems to be the place to go when it is hot.
Great park and free! Too many people for me though but the kids didn't care and loved it.
