Bridge Mall Farmers Market reviews
15 Wasn't a lot of stalls but it was very cold and windy. But the people I chatted with were lovely.
Thanks to the lovely man from the men's shed giving my dog Nikita a sausage, he told me I made his day getting to meet a Borzoi.
One of Ballarat's best markets for fresh produce. And then there's the bridge mall traders as well!
Well we went for the Saturday day market. I guess with the current time our expectations was a little high. We manage to try a couple of hot items and buy a little bit.
Another sad issue so many empty shops.
It was awesome, even though it was cold. But hey we live in BALLARAT people need to be prepared for 4 seasons in one. If the council open up the mall it won't be as good.
Mixture of good & bad. Some things unreasonably expensive. Other things good value. Not a good excursion, but worth a return for specific items
My favourite Ballarat weekend market location. Nice and central, fairly protected from bad weather, always has a good busker, free petting zoo, local produce and wares and delicious take away on offer. This time we avoided our usual gozleme because the queue was so long/slow and tried the pork dumplings at the dumpling man van instead - both my 11yo and I thought they were delicious.
The Bridge Mall is a great place to visit now things are 'back to normal' and more places reopen, and people are out and about again to pick up bargains and support the local community.
Rather small with few stands and food outlets. Nonetheless, the location is really central and it makes for a pleasant way to spend an hour on a sunny morning.
Very nice Quaint little market located in the Bridge St Mall. We went for the Christmas market and it was very festive. We arrived around 10: 30 and it was quite busy but not too crowded. The market offers plenty of stalls from food, grocery, souvenir, plant and live music, a fun place for the whole family.
Awesome Farmer's & Makers Market, first Saturday of every month, loads of great stalls and wonderful community spirit, if you're in the area highly recommend a visit!
Very disappointed that the listing doesn’t clearly state that it’s open only on 1 Saturday a month. You may figure out which Saturday that is, not going to help advertise it.
First of all, visit the market as early as possible to avoid the crowd. We visited the market before the opening hours, there are ready and set up for business. The market offers plenty of stalls from food, grocery, souvenir, plant and so much more. Definitely worth a visit and support local businesses! Plenty of parking around the area, but it get really busy after 11 am. Also, cash is a must to have, most of the stalls only accept cash.
Brings a nice vibe to the Mall. Expect lovely hamdmade local goods and edibles, but don't (like me) expect to do your weekly fruit & veg shop here. There are only one or two fresh veg stalls.
Family friendly with a animal farm and jumping castles. Buskers, food carts and supporting our farmers and small businesses definitely worth a visit
More to see than expected, good prices. Different selections of many things, could use more fruit and veg.
