Awesome church. 10 of Harmony Church in New Zealand leaders attended the conference on 31 August and 1 September 2023. Amazing time

I was physically assaulted by a male member of this church while passing by it one Sunday. I sent them an email about the assault but they chose to ignore it. A place that thinks so lowly of women in public clearly is a place of poor choice to attend. My arm was severely bruised by this man and no apology has been made. Utterly disgusting. Would hate to know what goes on inside with members that they comfortable to ignore.

Sinful ‘church’ has different intentions from Biblical teachings.
Not quality believers. They probably don’t believe judgement from believers and the Lord, because they love money: shops in the temple, to be in discipleships need to pay tuition for “courses”. It’s clear that Jesus was furious and cleansed the temple for 2 times for money-changers. No wonder showing favoritism on Biblical teachings. Honestly, shame on you!

This church is sadly being overtaken by the false theology of the New Apostolic Reformation / Bethel Church / Word of Faith Movement / Prosperity Gospel. Pray for the leaders of this Church for wisdom and discernment and to get back to preaching the message of the cross which is how people can truly be saved.

Love this church. Have visited a number of times when over from WA. You can tend to feel a little lost in a big church. Great preaching.

I met many great people with good spirits in this church, and I do agree that the church is teaching the truth with the Bible. It just really disappointed me that the majority of its church leaders called themselves Pastors but are not aware of what is good and evil. First two month in the church I was attracted by its visual and sound design, and at least 40 life groups that I thought I could get involved in. When I realized why I've never heard back from requests I sent on Neuma's platform was after catching up with members of Life Group management Pastor Vincent, and Pastor Liz. I realized they cancelled all my requests without informing me as I tried out more than two. What shocked me more is that when I raised this issue, (the essential reason leaving from first group was due to inactive actions from the group.) both of these pastors can not understand my situation but stick to their "rules and policies". I sent a request to make a covenant (with text evidence) in the way looking for mediators as people do in Bible, I got negative responses from Pastor Liz and a personal attack with evil words. She even raised issues to a 'complaint', at least that was the word I heard from Pastor Bek. I tried more weeks to reach out to other Pastors for mediation, Got Pastor Joe's response: “You can only stay in one group for 6 months” ; when I reached out to Pastor Steve who was relocated to South branch in May, he promised a mediation but I have never heard back from him since; when I reached out to Pastor Jye, I got a response that he will look into it but he can not leave the number because he is a businessman; when I reached Pastor Corey, he said he will make sure asking other pastors to give me a call in 2 days, but I have not received it since. This week I was invited to Neuma and chat with a young adult leader, Joshua and a Life Group leader Mei, they still are not willing to organize the mediation, and the meeting became confrontational and suggested I am not making ‘the covenant’ if I am not following them. I am praying to Jesus that people can wake up what's good and evil in this organization and notice the consequences living with current culture. Church should be a place guiding people to God, but not guiding away. How does it look like when a church actually produce evil but not love? I really appreciate the preaching from Pastor Corey on making a covenant, and not making celebrities in church, but unfortunately I haven’t seen this concept practiced. I would prefer to plant in a church that's focusing more on people than expanding branches that sacrifices quality. I am thankful for the divine purpose Jesus has given me to mention about my journey with this church. Amen!

I regularly attended this church for a few years, and I did have a few good experiences… but there are also several things that have deeply hurt me from the past…

A few years back, I felt at the point in my faith to take the next step and be baptised. I don’t want to name names, but the baptism pastor at the time was soo nice and encouraging leading up to the baptism. Once the baptism was over, I was then given a list of steps to take in continuing my faith-journey, which was great. One of them was volunteering within the church. I had acknowledged that it’s important to serve God’s house, however I had politely explained numerous times that I wanted to get involved but currently did not have time — seeing I was following God’s path for me in completing a university degree full-time.

The minute I indirectly / temporarily declined the option to volunteer (not permanently but just for the time being), I was treated like a total stranger by a few people — especially said-baptism pastor who was pushy into the volunteering. When I’d walk into church, they would not approach me or talk to me anymore unless we physically walked past each other. I made an effort once or twice to go up to them (when they were standing around before the service) to say hello, and the conversation was just awkward and cold, and clearly they had no interest in talking to me whatsoever.

Another member of staff acted completely two-faced (“We love you” “We love you”), but always turned a blind-eye and walked past me in church. On one instance, I waited for ages to speak to them after the service and “make connections” — which is what we were always pushed to do. Literally waited about 15 mins for their conversation to end (they saw me out of their peripheral vision), they then completely ignored me and walked over to someone else to chat on the other side of the room whilst I was left standing around like an awkward fool. I felt it was so rude and very stand-offish and so I just walked out and left without speaking to them.

I truly believe this particular person had already made their unchangeable mind up from the beginning that I was a “Bad Christian” just because I couldn’t serve at the time due to my circumstances, so therefore I “Wasn’t committed enough”. Despite this, I STILL made the effort to conquer my social anxiety and approach them, only to be ignored. Don't treat me like sweet-candy to my face and then turn around and stab me in the back. Is that would Jesus would do? I thought God can be the only judge of us? Funny about that!

But goodness forbid, should you think differently or not do as they’ve said, you will immediately start seeing the community drift away, bit by bit, because “That’s against God’s word”, regardless of what God may be saying to you behind closed doors. Many people work or study full-time and simply cannot volunteer. It doesn’t make them a “Bad Christian” because of it, or any less committed in their own personal relationship with Jesus.

This is emotional manipulation at its best and an indirect form of control. This is NOT what I thought this “church” was about. I thought this church was genuine, but I was wrong, just like every other manipulating church of “Do as I say and not as I do”.

Working/studying full-time? Doesn't matter, come and volunteer! No? Then you're not committed enough!

Donate 10% of your funds every single week! Lost your job? Unemployed? Struggling to even buy food? Doesn't matter! Donate anyway! If you don't, you're disobeying the Lord!

Feeling anxiety, depression or any other human emotion? Pray about it! Don't you dare allow yourself to feel emotions. You need to trust the Lord more! Not good enough!

The longer I'm NOT at church, the more I'm happy and free and feeling less controlled.

As one or two other reviews here have also said — these attitudes and behaviours can easily be mentally and emotionally damaging — especially towards those who may be seeking genuine acceptance, guidance or help.

Best Church in Melbourne. Amazing Worship team, Pastor's were on fire and every one were so friendly and helpful to all. Update, We've gone through a change in the name from (BridgeChurch) to Neuma Church, We have our change in Senior Pastors Corey and Simone Turner. We've had a lot of different changes due to Covid and the way things are done re Government policies. We're back to being in church not online, we have to register for the service we wish to attend. It's so good to be able to be with others and Celebrate God together. We have the 9am, 11am Prayer Power 3pm and the 5pm service each Sunday and Prayer Night (this is all campuses not just City Campus) each Wednesday night from 7pm till 8pm. We've now got Neuma Church Perth and later in the year we will have Neuma Church Hobart. Next year we see us moving forward to having another Church overseas as we continue to grow God's Kingdom. Such a friendly Family to be a part of. Amazing Worship team, Pastor's who are all there for everyone. Helpful, Loving, Caring for Community and Congregation So Good to be a part of this Awesome Church.

My family attended the church first time today. As soon as you leave the place; you will surely be blessed. A church where you felt like home, welcomed and valued. God bless to all the team.

Experienced His presence and your life will never be the same again. To God be the highest glory!

The ultimate church I’ve ever been to other than Holy Trinity Brampton in London with Nikki Gumble as my pastor for 10 years. It took me years and years to find Neuma Church way before it was named Neuma (bless) then aged 33 I found the church but these people are the BEST. They have looked after our daughter, despite being shy and finding ways to get her feeling confident in larger youth groups. All services are brilliant at Richmond. 9 am or 11 am or the 5 pm youth service. They also have special gatherings for toddlers right through to 18 year olds on a Friday nights! They accept all strands of Christians without judgement. A lot of Catholics attend due to feeling disillusioned with their churches and schools. We have had the very same experiences. Neuma sent us home made food due to my disability (I went from working and mothering to suddenly falling down 3 flights of stairs abd broke my coccyx- it even hurts for me to sit in a wheelchair). They have not forsaken me. For Christmas each of us was given a $30 gift voucher. My daughter who just turned 13 a TEEN gift card she can use at so many stores including online. But it’s not about the gift vouches it’s about how they have thousands of members and think of us during Christmas
The effort they go to is beyond remarkable. It is the gift from the Holy Spirit. They have a lovely modern space. Very über. Cafe room with large screen outside plus a great bookstore. Have an open mind. You’ll never find a place like this, nowhere! If your looking for real community, amazing songs and preaching when these days seem to becoming more and more superficial and many children who financially have everything but spiritually not much, do it for the next generation as times will only get tougher and everyone needs a community that loves!
Thankyou Neuma. I’m bedridden now for 7 years
And yet they are coming to see me. Just when I was feeling at my lowest ebb.

I’ve only been going to this church for almost 2 months now. Beautiful worship and atmosphere! The Pastor is incredible. However the people that allocate you to your seats need to learn some people skills and not be so rigid when it comes to seating. Other than that, worth the 35 minute drive!

Have grown up here for over 25years. Church full of life, solid grounding in the word, fantastic worship, great Lifegroups & ministries and a heart for mission. I've met my wife and many of my closest friends here and enjoy being a part of this community. A pentecostal church that has a rich heritage and great depth but is unashamed about the gospel and it's power. Come check it out:)

I'm a little bit sad. I love the fact that this church it is a voice crying in the wilderness in a Godless world. There are beautiful people who follow Jesus in this place but the sudden name change and no mention of all the other awesome preachers like Raef Soliman whose witness and messages are the reason I came to this church seem to have disappeared. Hmmmm. Hope all the other pastors reappear and that the Christmas day service does too.

I’ve called bridge my home church since 2012. There’s such an amazing community and support system. I found my husband at bridge and have made so many life long friends. I have been discipled and have grown so much in my faith and gifting. I’m excited for the future of bridge with the new leadership structure and team. Couldn’t recommend bridge more.

Loved this church for long time. Great church for new believers. Always sayong good God. God is great. I can't tell since when but missing fear of God. Many of churc friends and family left before us. I was overwhelmed when had financial difficulty. I did my best to sacrifice everyrhing in my bank account when asked a special offering. However they asked again for refurbishment of building and purchase new Audio and Video devices. Since then I left my church and not going any church now.
People! I love God and water baptized at this church. I talked people, this is my church, who is showing love of God and Jesus to others. Especially when suppport Lynal hall community school, street block party. I attended for more than 15 years, after the renovation, the old people are struggling to seat beause it is too dark to them, the music is very loud to them. It looks like a stadium for concert for me nowa. Sometimes, they are not allow to enter for a while if late while praying or something is running inside. This doean't mean you can not go inside at all but have to wait umtil they reopen.
I heaitated for more than a uear to write my opinion. Recently, I heard the new Pastor will come soon. If I don't have any favour or love, I wouldn't care what is happening there. But I still have my good memories and experience of God's miracle.
I still love this church because I became a Christian at this church when I came to Australia from oversease.
I believe God has his purpose and believe he will use this church for his gospel.

The first time I visited I just knew this is the church I've been looking for. They preach the truth and people are very down to earth. It's my home now and wouldn't want to go anywhere else

Made the switch from Hillsong in the city and felt like this church had a lot more depth and "meat". I love how "family" it feels as there are families and kids running around and the atmosphere is very down to earth. Everyone's super warm and friendly. A place to call home but also grow in your faith.
