Staff is so rude. I have rang to order my son’s birthday cake. Staff picked up the phone and said it’s passed the order ing time. I told her it’s ok we just need some recommendations for birthday cake so we can come to store next day. She answered impatiently there is no recommendation at all. If I want the cake just look online, the she hang up.

Not supporting card split payment (as I have several different cash EFTPOS gift cards of like $20, $30 amount and I want to split the payment to make my $50+ payment for the cake) but they said you can only pay via a single card at once, not sure it’s their own issue of not understanding or Tyro’s issue not supporting).

Increasing surcharge to 1% from January 2024, ripping off customers and starting preferring cash (clearly outlined at the check-out) like other restaurants and shops in Box Hill, good steps following lol

The bread is good but I wish Breadtop would come out with multipack sausage bun. Bon Bon at Boxhill offers this which stopped me from going to Breadtop Boxhill.

It is located just inside Box Hill Central.
You will get Tea (hot & Iced) but no coffee was available

Still one of the best place to get some bread and buns. Iced tea was good. You will get several breads and buns option.

We bought some of them for home - marble bread was good, muffin that I posted was not so good, Sausage roll, Japanese cake was light and less sugary. I loved it.

Rest breads and buns seemed fresh enough. Go for it.

It would have been great if the employee (one of the cashiers) treats the clients responsible and not straight up rude. This is not the first time that this has happened. Not only did she was rude and disrespectful when packing our pastries, but also ended up damaging one of the cheesecakes terribly to the point where it is unacceptable. The tray was forcibly taken from my hands. I wonder how many disappointed clients have left and never returned. I have never seen such terrible customer service. I get that this is a tiring job, but basic human manner should not be left out. I left BreadTop today with an unpleasant and frustrating experience. Hope this is being taken care of professionally. Thanks.

I bought a Blackforest Gateau cake for my son's birthday. As I ordered it online, I expected it to be fresh, but after we had it, we all got stomachache. Fortunately we didn't get diarrhoea. I had to chuck the half out. I was really upset.

Very tasty Mango sago milk shake. Loved the vegetarian options like coconut buns, pineapple buns, and hash brown rolls.

Wow the service: I don’t care for politeness but it doesn’t feel very good when you get scolded by the cashier for trying to help yourself to a plastic bag which she said “I asked you earlier but you said no, they cost 5c” without even asking me whether I’d like to pay for the bag and just left me there.

Miss: I’d just spent $15 at the shop, I am not trying to steal 5c. You may be tired but please learn to show some basic respect to other humans, especially customers who ultimately pay your wage.

Bread Top: provide better training to your staff please.

Stood at the desk with a loaf of bread for five minutes, gave up in frustration. Really poor service.

Bought your coconut bread-the worst I HAVN`T EATEN -ALWAYS MY FAVOURITE but yesterday the bread has no taste of coconut -first couple of pieces yes have the coconut taste but the rest is just plain taste-terrible.

Various fresh buns, pastries and cakes choices. Love the $2 snow mochi moon cake promotion. Will visit again and again because the buns are quite yum.

The cashier charged me twice for an item in purpose as she keyed in before I gave it to her, maybe she saw me hold in my hand on the way there, and then one more at the end of other items. Her attitude was absolutely rude as she tried to throw the bread on the table while she was packing them, and threw tray cause loud noise after finished. She even didn't ask me whether I needed receipt. I felt this one not good, so I requested for a receipt and found her mistake immediately after leaving the shop. I came back and talked to her but she kept silent and pretended she didn't hear me when i told her she calculated wrong for me, the other staff saw me standing there with no response from her then came and checked the bread and gave me the refund for wrong item. Also no apology from this staff as well. This is how I found out why sometime I bought bread in Breadtop Box Hill and cost a lot, just before I didn't meet such behavior so normally didn't ask for receipt unless it came up to a 100 if I also bought a cake. But from now on, I will ask for receipt for every single item I buy even it is a cupcake $1.50, I don't want to let cheating people slip away anymore

I have bought these breads a couple of times. The girl at the cashier covertly tried to charge you extra $2- $3 without you knowing. This happened a few times already. Check your changes carefully and ask for receipt!

I purchased some bread and milk tea. The staff added sugar to the milk tea without my knowledge. When I found out later and tried to change them. Two female staff at the counter refused and said I should have told them beforehand if I didn't want any sugar. Extremely bad experience for such poor service and bad manner.

If you want to taste what a bad service is all about come here. I stopped buying at this shop a while a go not because of the food but because the bad attitude of the people that work there. Store Manager this is a massage for you.

I went there looking for a plain croissant, and they didn't sell single croissants. I could have brought a 6 pack but I wasn't that greedy lol.

So I brought an egg tart for the first time and it was suprisingly really good.

The biscuit base was really light, and the egg, really tasty.

This was such a treat.

I’m giving this place a one as I think they are letting the other franchises down. I find this one should have been wrapping the pastries as I’ve seen others do and also I find they skimp a little on the fillings. Service could be improved.

The worst customer service I ever had in Breadtop. The staff was very inpatient and even rude to answer the query. Very disappointed in Bread top
