Brass Razu Wine Bar

Experienced the bottomless lunch option and it was well worth it! Delicious food and a variety of things to eat, a great selection of beer, wine and various cocktails and all topped off with fantastic service! High recommend this! The overall atmosphere was stunning, lovely lounge/courtyard at the back!

Went in for a drink with two friends and the staff were lovely and respectful despite how late we came in (felt really bad going in so late but it was such a lovely experience and it was a good drink!)
Great chill atmosphere and super cosy seating/furniture
DEFINITELY recommend! (I've been once before during the day when it was busier and it was still the same quality and atmosphere just more bustly and lively)

This is a fabulous cocktail bar in main street Mornington. Friendly staff, gorgeous atmosphere out the back. Specialty Glassware and delicious content.

There is live music on Friday nights that just completes the whole experience.

A Sunday live music session would be fabulous for those who can't make Friday nights.

A beautiful and unique Victorian-themed bar with delicious food and cocktails. Mulled wine is a must try!

Horrible experience. My friend had booked for 20 people and upon entry we were turned away as they overbooked and had no room left for us. Everyone left standing out in the wind and rain and my poor friend (birthday girl) couldn’t help but to blame herself. She has the booking on her phone and one of the staff members rudely said there’s nothing they can do.
None of us will be going back here as this isn’t the first bad experience I have had at brass razu.

0 out of 10 experience was there for Friend’s birthday THAT WAS BOOKED AND CONFIRMED but unfortunately they overbooked, so therefore our table of 20 was not seated and we had to go find somewhere else to eat and drink

Didn't eat this time, went for the band playing. It takes ages to get a drink at the bar.otherwise, nice atmosphere with leather sofas etc

Awesome Retro/Baroque style cafe/lounge. Great place to start the night with friends or family before hitting the town of Mornington. Highly recommended

I had such a positive experience here, the bar staff are lovely and the drinks are worth the $$. Definitely the most comfiest bar in the area, and if you do the bare minimum and obey the rules there’s no issues!

Extremely rude staff and management.

We ordered Long Island tea pots that were not at all a Long Island.
The bartender put bicardi, lemonade and coke and that’s it. When I asked if it had the 5 straights (as a Long Island should), he gave me attitude and a nasty tone saying the bottle is “pre-mixed”. Definitely tasted like just coke, rum and lemonade. Not a proper Long Island at all.

I have been on several occasions in the last year and each time the staff have been rude, unhelpful and nasty. Giving attitude and nasty looks if you ask for something.
I kindly told the manager that each time I have been recently, they have been nothing but rude and all she did was smirk and roll her eyes at me.
I miss the old Brass Razu. Not sure if they have new management or not, but something has changed and it’s definitely not what it used to be.

I refuse to waste my money again at such a poorly run bar.
If you want a good atmosphere, with nice food and drinks, I highly recommend Casa De Playa.

Rory is an amazing bartender give her a raise, everyone here is amazing and the cocktails are beautiful!

Dropped in with my wife and her niece who is visiting from overseas. She is 20 and understood that they wanted to see an i.d. We had images of her passport and her uni student I.d. But we were refused service. Right now we are ordering cocktails at a renowned bar in the city with no dramas. Won’t step into Brass Razu again.

I’m not sure why but this place has changed and not in a positive way.

Brass Razu was a haven for nice drinks, tea pots (in actual tea pots), good vibe, nice decor and a chilled time. Now it’s a pink, neon and overpacked bar that has no identity.

It’s such a shame that a unique little bar has lost its image and lost its way. $45 for a tea pot in a glass jug is a joke.

I just want the old Brass Razu back. I don’t want the long waits for drinks, overpriced drinks and a tacky environment.

Was looking forward to going there. Staff were very unprofessional. They spent a lot of time vaping by the back door.
It seemed to be a big ask to get the bar staff to bring our drinks to our table. Even though there were bar codes at the table, we were told we still had to order from the bar.

Great atmosphere, interesting mixed drinks presentation, and names for some of them. Coming back again when the opportunity/excuse arises!

Cosy and eclectic cocktail bar. Friendly and engaging staff. Interesting and delicious cocktail menu which I'm looking forward to working my way through. We had the turkish delight, darkness and disgrace followed by a whiskey sour and an amarretto sour. All amazing!
My only complaint is that we haven't been here sooner.

This one particular staff member has the most disgusting attitude I’ve ever encountered in hospitality, he shouldn’t be working there brings the whole place down, otherwise all the other staff are nice, wait times for drinks are abit on the longer side but the atmosphere is nice

Used to love this place. The last few times have been extremely underwhelming, mainly due to the horribly rude staff. Last night was the final straw for me personally. Unlikely to return it is my decision. Better places in mornington popping upX with much more welcoming employees!
